If he proves himself to be a clubhouse cancer let him go. I would not give him a raise or extension under any circumstance.

Yeah, good luck with that. For the kind of money he would want we can go after LT.

Some of u people on here are jokes...u always want to trade a player when he ask for more money. That why we are in the spot we are we always trade our good players and they go to other teams and shine. Like Abe.

That's one of needs this year in the draft, RB, so that would be great. Groom him to replace TJ down the road and provide a backup to TJ and LW. Hopefully, he would be a good short yardage guy to use this year cause TJ sucks on short yardage

With Jones and Leon on the roster, you would use a high pick on an RB this year?

I think there are too many other holes to fill.

If we have a good line Rb is not a need!. A Rb is only as good as the holes he has to run through unless his name is Barry Sanders.

TJ's contract was front-loaded as has been discussed. He's already been paid the majority of his deal in the first two years.

Well, no one in my company got a raise this year. Not even cost of living increases for anyone.

As for me I am being promoted. So I did a very good job last year. But even with my extra responsibilities, I will get no extra pay. I'm just glad to have a job in these difficult times.

So no, I have no sympathy for prima donna athletes always asking for more money.

He had 1 rushing TD and that's all I care to waste my time talking about. We are, after all, talking about a RB here, aren't we? You do as you wish.

When it's all said and done, 2008 will likely be Jones' career year. Investing more money in him would be a mistake.

    I would, definitely.

With all the areas that need to be addressed, we kind of have to keep him; we shouldn't use a high pick on a RB.

Make sure the rest of the Offense is good, especially the OL, and then draft someone next year to pair up with Leon.

Look at the better RBs in the league the past couple of years: Peterson, Chris Johnson, Forte... If you have a solid OL and some WR weapons, plugging in a talented rookie RB yields pretty high success rates. Therefore (mostly responding to you Winston), it's not really even necessary to draft a RB early this year to groom. Use the picks on other needs (unless of course, there's some absolute steal staring us in the face).

yeah knowshawn at 17 is too sexy to let go... the Titans didn't need Chris Johson but took him anyway.

TJ is a big locker room guy though. When he goes it needs to be due to end of contract.

30+ year old RBs shouldn't be asking for a new deal

He scored 2 TDs in 2007 and anybody worth talking to would understand that fact. I was just making the point that your title is well-earned and you continue to do it proud.

Are you okay dude? I mean does it matter what we want? Its our opinion. The decisions are taken by the management, not the TGG members. I mean seriously, are you criticizing us for the trades?

You know these athletes dont have to go out look for a job. Teams contact the ones that are good. I can be the best at my work, but no one in the world will come to me and say, "yo, work for me. I will pay you double".

They sit on their arse and let their agents do the dirty work. Play a few good games and their agents to get a pay raise and then just sit and see how the situation plays out.

If somebody paid me to play football, I'd do it regardless of the money. I will be doing something I love, not sitting here on my arse doing a dumb audit that rarely makes sense.

He would probably pay TJ the franchise tag value and trade our #1 to the Falcons to get Abe back.
