The son of Terry Robiskie, who is the Atlanta Falcons WR Coach.... A Ohio State product ran a 4.51 today. I think he's underrated.. he has the route running and good enough hands... he'd be a fantastic 3rd round pick if he last to the mid 3rd, but I don't know if he's going to be there after the good 40 time.

I don't see him as a playmaker, but an excellent 10 year receiver. Very clutch too.

    Thoughts?

I think he's pretty good and would be okay with the Jets nabbing him in the 3rd or 4th round.
I am against the Jets selecting a wideout in round 1.

By the way, is "wideout" the new term of choice for such players? If so, then good. "Wideout" is a better label than "wide receiver".

He caught my eye today too. Seems pretty solid, intelligent, and I'm in favor of good route runners with good hands.

I've always been impressed with Robo, he was limited this year with Pryor's freshman year. Not the fastest receiver, but does evrything well.....runs outstanding routes, decent hands and is a smart kid (Team Captain). Well respected by Players, OSU Fans and Coaches here in Columbus.

If he's available in Rd 3 ........no question the Jets should look at him, if we haven't addressed WR in Rd 1 or 2.

After this combine, he may not last to the mid 3rd... he screams professional football player... he does nothing wrong.

he'll be a great #2 for a team for 10 years.... its fun to watch him do drills.

Yeah I agree. I think he'll go late in the 2nd or probably early 3rd now. I think we really need a legitimate #1 receiver though and he is definitely not that.

I really like him, he probably moved into the second round now with the good 40 time he put up today. I think he would be a good fit (he's a fantastic run blocker) and he could step in for Coles when he is done in a year or two. Although WR is not the biggest concern for us, at round 3 he would have great value.

While I'm a big Robiskie Fan, he's not ever going to be #1 WR in the NFL. Somthing IMO, the Jets are lacking.

I never meant to imply that he had #1 receiver potential, i was just saying that he would be a nice fit in the style of play the jets are going with, and wouldn't mind them taking him if he fell to the third round

I feel the Jet's need that #1 WR, something that Maclin could be in the near future. While Robiskie could be a nice addition to the Jets in 2009, I would probably like to get that #1 receiver next year....Arrelious Benn from Ill. would be perfect.

The Jets need to address a #1 receiver in the next couple of drafts.

I don't think he'll make it past Cleveland in the 2nd round.

The Brown's have more needs than WR..........they could use a CB, DE/OLB, RB. A WR is a luxury pick at this point.

I can't see Mangini passing on him. Especially since Braylon and KW2 are 2 giant pain in the balls. We all know how he is obsessed with character guys and Ohio State, Robiskie is his typical Ohio Stater.
