There is a reason for that. We already KNOW those QB's suck, including Lefty... and Losman. We don't yet know if Clemens or Ratliff suck. I find it un-freakin-believable that anyone in their right (or even delusional) mind would want a proven piece of shit like Losman. He has NO leadership qualities, no game management ability, is horribly innaccurate and has very poor ball security. H'es a surfer dude, man... another west coast cute boy that is NOT a football player. The sheer stupidity of some Jets fans ... Losman? LOSMAN? FUCKIN LOSMAN???? Holy flyin shit fer brains.
I'd rather see the Jets bring in Losman then Kitna, or even Garcia for that matter. If he turns out to be a competent starter then we've got a guy for the next 4-5 years at least.
^He already has proven that he isn't a competent starter for one team. Why would he get any better. He had the biggest o-line in the league and he still ran around like a jittery little retard. The guy is not someone we'd want to bring in to compete. He'd be as useful to the Jets as David Carr is to the Giants; no more, possibly less.
After watching this, I think he needs to work on his foot-work. He's more running than dropping back. Even on the 3 step he looks sketchy. Nothing a good QB coach couldn't help.
Clemens is more inaccurate and looks even worse in the pocket. I don't think anyone wants losman here but with the 3 qbs we currently have and not knowing if they can produce anything as a starter in the nfl we need to bring in someone else, whether it be losman, leftwich, garcia,kitna whoever, some one else will come in and compete

If he can play better than the current qbs on our roster, yes. Not many options for qb in fa this year, of course we can sign no qb and if clemens and ratliff suck maybe we can do bad enough to get the #1 pick and draft mccoy.
What has Loseman ever done to prove he is better then any QB on our roster? This guy sucks plain and simple. I would rather go with an untested rookie then a guy whom I know is not getting the job done. If you want a fail safe bring in leftwich or garcia, someone who can actualy play QB. Not Loseman.
As for your question, nothing. Notice I said "if" he could play better than them. Garcia is a better option than both for the short term. But losman would be a better choice over lefwich imo. Playing for the bills really doesn't help to make you a decent qb. Hopefully clemens can show he has it and will be our qb. But another qb has to be brought in, just in case. Thinking other wise is just foolish.
