this is the argument that people made against Curtis Martin, but he is going to be a first ballot guy, they have the numbers, the pro-bowls, one of the best ever at their position. They both hold NFL records (Martin shares one with Barry Sanders) they are first ballot locks

Chris Carter will not get in. He did nothing for the sport.

I believe Cakes is advocating for the induction of Cris Carter, in his usual manner.

Obviously you're not a fan of The X-Files.

Absolutely agree. I don't see Chris Carter making the NFL Hall of Fame.

Great career Marvin. But after that knee issue, he has just not been the same.

Here's an article about Harrison that discusses some of his incidents. It shows a side of Harrison that I did not expect.

interesting that he continues to stay there. however i have never been there so i will not comment on what it takes to live there or own and operate businesses there.

i cant stand marvin harrison because he was good, very fucking good. and i also could never stand the way he would lay his pussy ass down and not take a hit from a db, that is the single thing that always drove me crazy about him. however i will bet he lasted 5 years longer than he would have if he had taken all those hits.

bah fuck that they should still be able to hit em if they just fall their pussy ass to the ground. this is football afterall. oh wait that wouldnt be in accordance with the new nfl and its pussydom.

I have always been a huge Marvin fan, He was a great reciever. It seems from reading that article that even with all his success he is still a troubled man and has not grown past his past. I now, I have a better understanding of why he was always so shy with the media he seems to be dealing with deamons from his past.

It's funny that during an age of T Owens and R Moss that Harrison who was just as good as them flew under the radar for so many years. Now it is time for him to go on with his life and I wish him all the best!

I will bet you're wrong. His last good season was in 2006, at the age of 34.

basically, Harrison put the pressure on. He was refusing to take a pay cut, so the Colts knew they'd have to release him. They weren't planning to quite yet, but he decided to go public so the team would look terrible if they didn't release him.

Look for Harrison to sign with the Philly Fleagles.
