It sucks seeing who we couldve had instead of this j.o. I remember hearing about how Ted Cottrel was jumping up and down because the texans took Andre Johnson and so the Jets were going to take DeWayne and I thought wow what a fucking idiot. And after Robertson, such players as Troy Polamalu, Terrence Newman, Ty Warren, Marcus Trufant, Kevin Williams, Jordan Gross and Nnamdi Asomugha were taken. Good going Boobway you fuck.

Yeah, but you forgot, we got rid of his salary! I'd take 3 mil of cap space over Polamalu or Asomugha any day.

Fat Ted. Heh. The Jets sure had some clowns running the team back then, didn't they?

I have nothing left to add to this post but to admire the tiny little jerseys in your sig.

The scenario I figured we'd see with the two picks if Bradway just left the board alone was Ty Warren or Jimmy Kennedy on the 13 to play DT and Eric Steinbach to play G on the 22. We'd also have kept the 4th round pick in that scenario and that would have turned into a sniping chance at another decent prospect.

This was probably the worst trade in Jet's history. It did more to deep six the franchise than any other single factor.

I agree--worst jets trade of all time and it put an exclamation point on the two worst drafts in jets history (2002-2003). Not only did we reach for Drob in that 2003 draft we also lost Coles thanks to Boobway and had to send Moss to Wash just to get Coles back.

It's not that I'm not happy, it just makes it all the more painful that all we have to show for giving up 2 #1 draft picks for a guy that made no sustainable impact is that we moved his salary...

We got Terry Bradway out of the front office in the same year, if that is any consolation. But most of his cronies are still there.

I found this little tidbit this morning.

DROB a Titan? - Haynesworth to FA?

I would freak if we landed Haynesworth, but I don't see how. If Drob is the choice for filling Haynesworth's shoes, Good Luck.
