i hate him because he's an eagle... and he leaves the ball at the one yard line... he's done it more than once - he is a dumb individual.

We went into 1998 with Glenn Foley thinking he was going to be the man.. Who would have though Vinny would come in and take us to Afc championship. If we didnt worry about having wrs that year it wouldnt have happened.. You have to worry about each position. You never know what could happen.

Marcus Henry was a late round pick, obviously for reasons. To be honest, when he started the thread, he didn't give us opinion, he simply asked what everyones thoughts were on the article he posted. That is all. Everyone, like always in these forums, jumps on his cased offering no insightful information.

THousch and Marcus Henry aren't even in the same realm of comparison. Larry Fitzgerald, Calvin Johnson, THousch, TO , are all receivers of considerable height. Not 5'11, but larger frames and stronger bodies, and for the most part, they are pretty dominant receivers in the NFL because they offer two dimensional threats. Kenny Britt, 6 foot 4, is a physical phenom, I know this because I am on the strength and conditioning team at Rutgers, and we train him, and I know him personally. I am not saying at 17 we take him, because that is simply a reach. But for the most part, Coles isn't doing anything for us, and we lack a big physical receiver that has that two dimensional flare to him, the speed as well as the bulk.

Part of being in a forum is to offer a different opinion, and discuss them, not jump on the kid for seeing what insight you all can offer. No size is not everything, but would anybody really mind have THousch on the team? Absolutely not. I would much rather have him as a number one reciever, than L.Coles.

We dont need to go after a guy like Housh. I want a game breaking WR which Housh isnt and with Ryan brought in to be the new coach we need to focus on building up this defense.

Housh is a damn good WR but hes not in the same mold as a Calvin Johnson or Fitz as other said. Who needs a WR when we have no QB

I would take TJH over LC any time at this point in their careers. But what do we have to give up for it? If it means we are going to pay Coles $7 mil, and TJH another $7-8 mil, then no. We can't be throwing money like that.

If it was possible, like in Madden, to swap Coles with TJH and not paying anything more or giving up any picks, then sure. Otherwise pass. He's not explosive enough to be spending and extra $8 mil while we have C&C on the roster.

In essence, you're saying who needs a good offense when your defense sucks...Doesn't work that way my friend.

You can make up for an OK QB with a good OL and WRs...and vice versa.

I don't know, Housh doesn't strike me as being enough of a retard to want anything to do with Oakland.

I doubt It. Don't think Raiders willl go the FA WR route this year. First they Have alot of money tied up in Javon Walker (most likely coming back) , Second Raiders love their young WRs(Schilens , Higgins and Arman Shields- 100% now and Raiders expect big things from. Third the majority of Raiders recieving yards should come from TE and the RBs.

Let examine the third point closely. Raiders have one of the best allround TEs in the game in Zach Miller who numbers should go way up, when Raiders get the tackles, that will let him go out into patterns, and not stay in and block.

D Mcfadden is a big time reciever threat, who scary's a defense and one they must account for everytime he is in the game. Mcfadden due to injury was rather limited in what he could do last year and Raiders couldn't utilize his recieving ability as much as they wanted to.

H- back - Marcel Reece 6'2 240 4.42 speed Former WR turned Fb( AL davis project) , h-back will be a tough matchup for defenses to handle (very nice complement to Zach Miller) Too fast for LBs and most safeties. Tough for Cbs to bring down as they are giving up forty pounds to him.

RB M Bush. He was only Rb that was healthy last year and Raiders did a poor job utilizing him as a reciever, (He very good reciever)

You are fucking nuts. Comparing housh to calvin JOhnson Larry fitz, T.O.

Housh is 6'1 not as tall as any of those guys. Not to mention that he is not anywhere near as fast as those receivers. I dont understand what you guys cant comprehend about housh is a #2 receiver. If you think coles cant spread the field you are crazy to think housh can.

    LOL

lets take this one by one

Kenny Britt- 6'4 okay he gives the jets height. But speed, really? really? speed? He will run a 4.5 thats no where near speed to stretch the field.

Housh- Housh is only 6'1, hmm dont we have a #1 receiver that is 6'1 i think hsi name is jericho.... not to sure though. And your crazy to think housh can stretch the field and bring us speed. Cotch coles stuckey and clowney are all faster than houshmandzedah. Get off madden and watch a fuckin game once in a while. If it wasnt for Chad johnson getting double teams housh would have nothing.

Check the statistics I provided then come back and apologize.

Bottom line the WRs we have on the roster CANT and COULDNT get the job done with Brett friggen Favre at QB.

Of course anything is possible but it is likely that he will get upfront guaranteed money...he is the #1 WR on the market.
