    To add on:
    -Javon Walker was attacked/beaten.
-Darrent Williams, killed in a drive by.

And how many NBA players have been robbed over the last few years?

Why were they pulled over? The article states:
That is not a reason to pull him over, kind of fucked up if you ask me. I guess it doesn't matter since it was still illegal in the end.

That's a good question, and I wonder how they got permission to search his trunk. The officer didn't have probable cause, so he would have needed either a warrant or Lynch's permission..

Lynch was a target of a drive-by in high school. I also remember Steve Smith of the Giants getting robbed at gunpoint in Clifton. It's no excuse, but still.

Sports players are targets, it's as simple as that. They make a ton of money and usually carry some on them and they are in the public eye. I understand how and why they carry a weapon, but, be smart about it. Get a permit or if you make enough money, get a bodyguard so you don't have to worry about it. People don't think before they do anything.

If he was pulled over because they "knew who he was", isn't that illegal?

So many players get pulled over for some real BS
    Cops are jealous
They see young men in an expensive car so they want to believe that they are doing something wrong.

If anything I would say these guys need to buy a regular car.
    Blend in with the people.
Don't stand out like a sore thumb

The problem is bigger than people think

Does anyone believe Walker's story? Seemed far fetched.

I understand there is an element out there more than willing to steal from the rich. If you must go out, why not take a limo and/or have private security to handle the BS for you?

It seems to me the ego's are taking over where common sense could prevail.

As long as we value money over anything else, it will always bring out the worse in people.
Money for a man determines how big your penis is
And there are plenty of so-called men who would love nothing more than to cut the penis off of other men who are doing better than themselves.

    Marshawn Lynch, RB BUF

News: Bills running back Marshawn Lynch says he expects to be suspended by the NFL for his latest run-in with the law and he's gotten the message that the league "won't tolerate any more screw-ups" from him. Lynch held a news conference Wednesday, a day after he met with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell in New York. The meeting was part of the league's investigation into whether to discipline the Bills starter after he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor gun charge in Los Angeles earlier this month. Marijuana was also in the car but no drug charges were handed down by the authorities. Lynch expects the decision to be made within 10 days.

Analysis: Sources close to the situation told CBSSports.com's Clark Judge that Lynch is facing a one- or two-game suspension following his meeting with Goodell. We expect at least a two-game suspension. Lynch's 2008 totals look better than they actually were as he had 1,036 rush yards on 250 carries (4.1 avg.) with eight TDs, adding 300 yards on 47 catches (6.4 avg.) with a touchdown through the air. Naturally, he's expected to post solid numbers once he's through with a suspension, so considering him a borderline No. 1/No. 2 Fantasy RB is reasonable -- just expect to be without him for a couple of games early in the year. His draft stock might decline a little, making him a fairly sweet sleeper if he fell as late as 20th overall.

Lynch was good, but not so good that BUF will really miss him. If they held the draft over I doubt he would still be a 1st round pick. I mean on talent, not on knowing of his legal troubles.
