Fack! Lost our 2nd straight conference championship game. Here's what we need if anyone has: Positions to be added this offseason (level 38 or higher): -Backup OT -Backup DE -Backup CB - Special Teams build -Backup SS - Special Teams build Positions to be scouted for potential upgrades: -Level 45+ TE -Level 45+ CB (in lieu of backup CB... player would have to have a shutdown corner build, rather than speed build).
Recruiting is just getting soooooooo hard now , its easier to slow build one yourself. I've been after a guards nearly all season now. Pretty much given up.
Seriously! I went into last season with no DEs because I couldn't find any! I have a feeling it might be business as usual again.
I have a DE FA coming up that has no team , but at level 36 will most likely be too low , Mark Gastineau

I don't know about my future in GLB, I was readying an article by one of the GLB magaines, and It laid out the unfolding story perfectly: "If you have only players, your time in GLB will slowly get more difficult, as the newest trend is a team with 3 or less agents including the owner to be the only members of the team. Goal Line Blitz is losing the Football league feel. You don't see GMs cloning themselves and putting those clones as the only members of their teams in the the NFL, do you? Goal Line Blitz is transforming into one of those simulator games when the only thing you control is a GM, eventually only owners and GMs will be left. Mounting greed is to blame, owners would rather use their own players to save a little money, then actually try to make this feel like anything remotely connected to football. So if you only have players, your out of a team, and you about to put up an add for yourself, don't bother, owners and GM's have better things to do: laugh at their immense fortune in a video game, as they starve out any other people remaining." I have 2 players who are FA, and I'm hoping I get an offer.
Not all teams are the way described in the article. Hell, my team went 15-1 last season, is in AAA now, and I don't have a single player that I own on my own team, and haven't for four seasons now.
Once I committed him to your team, I didn't want to go back on it. :beer: Besides, I think Mark Gastineau will do great.
You know you can pull players if you need to though. I absolutely love having your guys on the team , apart from being good players , its you as well
With all the terrible builds out there along with the amount of teams it isn't surprising to see team owners use their own players
