Further proof that Steve Serby is an absolute jackass. Where's Richard Todd when you need him? I like Warner and he's found a nice home for himself to finish out his career, but he would be a waste of time here.

Warner is playing for Arizona or retiring. He's not going to move his family and learn a new offense on a team with a receiving corps that couldn't hold the jocks of the one he is working with now.

Kurt Warner doesn't want to go from Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitz to Coles and Cotch in his final years. Serby is a retard.

Kurt Warner coming to the Jets would be a mistake.

WTF are people thinking with these recommendations? Are they just coming up with random bullshit because they feel a need to weight in?

Seriously, enough of these band-aid solutions!

Why don't we go after Doug Flutie or Tim Couch for Christ's sake!

First off, no QB is going to make this team win a Super Bowl. Secondly, we need to develop something long-term. We have enough young talent to keep a core of really good players around for 5 seasons or so. Build on that, not any more of this all or nothing BS.

The Jets have the players to be good every year for a few years.....but if they keep focusing on one position then the rest of the talent will just stay the same, the team won't gel, and we'll be consistently decent or mediocre.

Especially not to New York. He's had enough of New York.

I don't particularly care for any of those three solutions in the OP.

If Warner is not a UFA, then absolutely not. We need to save are draft picks for developing from within. We need to focus more on the defensive side of the ball this year. If are defense gets significantly improved we can make a good showing with the QBs we have and let them jocky for #1 in training camp.

"Well, God told Warner yesterday that the Jets are in desperate need of a quarterback because Brett Favre retired."

Sorry, but God isn't a Jets' fan.

Yeah, just what we need, another veteran QB at the end of his rope.

You mean how he went 40-57 for 472 yards and 3TDs?

Edit: I don't actually want Warner here.

Yeah, most of these garbage stats coming when AZ was down 42-0.

Regardless, I wasn't arguing his team's effectiveness that day, it's making the point that his passes weren't exactly flailing in the wind.
