Is he on our team already (Clemens or Ratliff), do we have to look for him from another team/free agency, or is he in the draft?

C'mon, Brett never really wanted to be with the Jets. Buh-Bye, Brett. He was great in Green Bay. I wonder if he would have had the same career if he played in New York? Unfortunately, he's just another big name who couldn't cut it in New York. But here's the punchline...I get a voicemail from a NY Jets PSL salesman this morning...on the day Brett quits! To a season ticket holder who is recently unemployed! I don't envy this schmuck's job in this economy. I sure hope he's not commission-only.

The team wasn't going to win the Super Bowl with Favre next year either so who cares. At least now they are forced to figure out what they have and do something to develop or acquire a franchise QB. Hopefully, they learned their lesson and won't go after somebody else's leftovers again.

I like Sanchez. I think he'll be great. But a.) can we do it? and b.) how long for him to develop in the NFL? I saw enough of Clemens to know he's not the guy. Ratliff is a big question mark. Very upset. This past season was my favorite one ever. It was so much fun to watch the team with Favre, even the crappy games. I loved every minute of it, and I jumped out of my seat when I heard the Jets were getting him. Sorry to see you go so soon, Brett
