Why don't you just stick around with real football fans who don't just follow some losing qb wherever he goes. How quickly you turned your back on your packers. Shame on you! Then you act like you are the expert on the Jets. FU! It will be nice once all you favre transplants get lost. Make shure you come back to eat crow when the Jets kick some ass next year.

    I don't see that, either.

The article also said something about the Jet organization thinking Clemens is not up to replacing Favre? WOw.

With a new staff, I don't think Clemens is the heir apparent. He and Ratliff will have to battle it out in camp and in the preseason, which is exciting from a fan perspective.

I'll believe it when he's not on the starting roster come opening day.

If this is true...then it's about time. He should have never come out of retirement last year.

Feel sorry for all those fans that purchased his jersey.....NOT!

    I agree. Good riddance.

I could never figure out that mentality anyway. It's like it's not really being a football fan, but rather some kind of adolescent "hero worship," the kind of mentality that collects Action Figures.

we will make the playoffs because we are going to have a monster defense that will help us win 12 games.

A Qb comp at this point should have us questioning whether Schott has any competence whatsoever. He has no idea which of the two is more likely to succeed?

If they announce a Qb comp, I will start thinking of other things to do to fill up my time during the upcoming season.

That will happen right after we spend a bunch of money on FAs and draft picks and maybe make an interesting trade and then we don't have enough cap room for him.

I don't see how he would know. The year before last Clemens was behind the most porous offensive line in football, so that wasn't a true yardstick for what he can do, and last year, Clemens and Ratliff were simply playing back-up to Favre (true, before Favre, Clemens and Pennington were competing, so maybe that should give Shotty some insight, but not enough to say anything with any certainty).

They (Star Ledger) probably don't have the recent changes that include a huge bump in Rhodes' cap figure from ~$4 million to ~10$ million and the recent signings.

Actually, this is a good question. How does this work? I know the Jets don't release him. Do we have to wait for him to sign retirement papers?

I am happy, thank you for your concern. If the Jets win 5 games next year I will still be a Jets fan. I know being loyal to your team is a foreign concept to you but not to Jets fans.

Are you insinuating that the Pats payoff the refs?
