Barrett (5-10/195/Arkansas/Osceola, AR) played 69 games in five seasons with the Jets, He started 37 games, recording 247 tackles, half a sack, five forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, 42 passes defensed and 12 interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown. During his nine-year career, he has recorded 376 tackles, 71 passes defensed, 18 interceptions, 10 forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. He originally signed with the Jets as an unrestricted free agent in 2004 after spending four seasons with the Arizona Cardinals.
Nice, he was awful. If we cut the right players and Favre retires, the Jets should have decent money to spend in FA.

You guys that want to release Coleman are hilarious. He's pretty good against the run. He's not supposed to get that many sacks...that's not his job in this system. Releasing him would kill the little to no depth we have at defensive end.
