My Dad spoke to them. The tickets are under his name. I'll get more info when i speak to him. He just shot me an e-mail this morning.
THERE IS NO DEFINITE WITH ANYTHING IN THE UPPER DECK YET. LET ALONE SOMEONE WITH 80 SENIORITY. DONT MEAN TO BUST YOUR BUBBLE BUT YOU MIGHT GET A 1ST 2 SECTIONSCLOSEST TO THE 50 THAT ARE NOT THE PRIME SEATS AND GET A AISLE??? COME ON YOU MIGHT GET IT BUT IN ROW 40.
i was really considering the PSL price with the seats they where offering. but then the ticket price on top just makes me shake the cobwebs and slap myself in the face.
I can't imagine paying $400 for a regular season game, but a pre-season game would kill me. The only PSL we considered is the Mezz. end zone because the price per game is $120, but who the hell wants to pay 4k to sit in the end zone. We have decided to take the UD and pick the lowest row we can get regardless of location and see if we can deal with it. If not, then at least we tried and after 29 years we give our seasons up. I can not think of one positive except for the supposed traffic improvements that I need to see for my own eyes.
Are you sure, sure of this info since my NYJ rep told me no UD seats would be assigned until May & my seniority is 77
I am e-mailing you as a follow-up to the voicemail I left for you today. My name is Mike DeMarino and I want to introduce myself as your New Jets Stadium Specialist. I am the person responsible for your relocation from the existing stadium to the new one, and will work with you to secure the best possible seat locations. We have opened a New Stadium Sales Center at the Meadowlands and our hours are the following: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM Saturday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Sunday 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM Feel free to call me at your convenience, because the sooner we are able to talk, the better your seats will be! I look forward to working with you. Go Jets! This is the e-mail that was sent to my dad. He spoke with this gentleman later in the day, and was told that our seats would be somewhere in sections 312-314, this was our request(we really wanted 311). He was also told that we would still be located in the isle and one in from the isle, back to back(4 seats). I would not post bogus info. I am just relaying information, as i would think others in my position would want to know. He stated that because of our seniority, we would be located in these areas. He stated that he would call back in the fall to finalize this info. He stated that since we have had tickets since 80, and he didn't think the isle seats would be a problem, because most people don't want isle seats, for what ever reason. We were not assigned seats, but we were told that that would be where we would probably be located. This person said that no records were kept before 1979. So we were told told that our seniority was very low since we were ticket holders since 1980. My dad didn't know our seniority #, but i am going to call today, myself, and speak to him.
Sounds like Woody's sales crew has a better pitch than Bernard Madoff's people. Unbelievable how people are swallowing what they say. PT Barnum was right.
I'm not singling you out, evojoe67, I just think people always want to hear what they want to hear. If you've got a vulnerable Jets fan wanting an aisle seat on the 50 and they tell you "We'll try to do this," all of a sudden it becomes reality in their mind. "Hey, I've got my seats! Right on the 50 on the aisle!" All I'm saying is, when the tickets are finally in your hand, that's when you should believe it.
Not saying you are posting anything false just saying what ur NYJ rep told U & what my NYJ rep told us is in total conflict with each other. Also if you have seniority after 77 U are lower on the list for choosing an UD seats so it is hard for me to understand that ur NYJ rep told U what U posted
Does anyone else want to get a group of season tickets holders from here seating in the same section?
Yeah, I do. That would be fun. But it would require a good pitch on our part too (a GG section), something the Jets could then say, "Hey, we accomodated our supporters... look what we did for the local Blog group). MAybe it would get us some decent seats near the 50 and near the rail. But I suppose we'd all have to be within a good range of seniority... then maybe go by that and then by whatever your GG start date was or whatever.
I understand. No offense taken. This is a big bag of bullshit, i'm sure. Like you said, when my tickets are in my hand i'll believe it.
