funny to see the camaraderie with revis and hope after all the animosity that was goin on between the jets and titans in their regular season matchup
good players respect good players. im sure any DB in this league knows how good Revis is. and Revis seems as humble as they come. on a sidenote, that pick was disgusting.
Hope is lucky to be even seeing the same backfield as Revis. It was embarassing how much he got burned in our game against the Titans
Nmandi is great, but the Raiders were 31st in the league against the run.. Teams dont have to pass when they often have the lead and can just run it on the raiders.. I wanna see what he can do on a different team... He's good, but I'm not sold he's as great as some say
Finnegan is good not to take anything from him( and he is a 7th rounder) but i also think Revis is better and is living up to being traded up to. I LOVE REVIS no homo
^ in that round, 2 picks became starters. Colston was the other. That's the usual percentage. Revis had a pick............. not surprised.
Just watched the highlights of the game. The int was great...in fact, AMAZING. Turning on the last second and grabbing the ball with one hand. On a side note, this never should have been an int. The LT, whoever it was, jumped about half a second earlier. Not sure how the refs missed it. The Adrian Peterson touchdown was really lousy. No body wanted to tackle him and it showed just how lousy the pro bowl can be. You would imagine it should be great since the best (or the most popular) players are out there, but it doesn't work that way.
I can see your logic here but you have to look at what Asomugha has done when the ball has been thrown at him. I think FreindlyGiantsFan posted the rankings earlier in the Jets Forum and Asomugha has the better numbers for when the ball goes his way. I'd hate to have to agree with RaiderJoe but given the option in a draft I'd have Asomugha ranked #1 on my board and Revis a very close #2.
Honestly it doesn't matter. The difference in talent between the two is so small that one year really doesn't matter. You can't judge these guys until it's all over. The fact is, they are both winning quality cornerbacks, but only one of them is playing for a winning quality team.
Yeah and he had 8 receptions and 122 yards..but it wouldn't have mattered as Boldin had 10 receptions and 119 yards and Breaston had 9 receptions and 122. All in all Warner threw for 472 yards that day. I wouldn't be crowing about our pass defense last year at all.
BRO DO YOU ERVEN WATCH THE GAMES??? it was 34-0 at halftime and revis had 2 picks and a td that game.. OPEN YOUR EYES BRO
