i didn't see the play, I'm watching it on gamecenter... LW has a 20 yrd run..maybe thats it? perhaps its the formations being run in the backfield.
well with mangini leon gets 1 carry for 34 yards and gets a touchdown then they never hand the ball off to him again
he was in a lot of offensive plays a DUMMYS and he did an option with ronnie brown but leon went the wrong way.. cutler also throw him a pass but got picked off by Julius peppers.......... SO HA point is GIVE LEON THE BALL NEXT YEAR
What the hell are you smoking dude??? He had two damn rushing attempts, one of them going for a 20. You would imagine he'd get more rushes if he just broke a 20 yard dash, but hell, he never saw the ball again on offense. Atleast Schotty was giving him the ball more than twice in a game. This thread is so pointless, just want to bash Mangini for some reason while he was never incharge of the offense.
^I agree with you on the Mangini bashing. This game was just further evidence to the ultimate point of the thread which is coaches not giving Leon the ball enough. Harbaugh's use of Leon was pretty much what we'd expect from Mangini. Leon is one of the special talents of the NFL but he is so underutilized that it just kills you to see him rotting on the bench, wasting his talents. Everyone is frustrated by the lack of touches that Leon gets. It's ridiculous to the point of absurdity. Leon should see the ball far more often than he does/has and every carry we don't give him is a wasted opportunity for a big play.
Yeah no doubt LW needs to get the ball 10+ times per game. He's an animal in the open field. I want to get a LW jersey.
