on feb 6th at 1pm i met with Nick at the trailer on the side of the north tower.i had to sign release forms about entering the construction site.i took the tour with 14 other top seniority season ticket holders.i was escorted by 3 PSL consultants and the head manager of the construction team,Skanska.

we walked around Giants stadium from the north tower past gates D 7 gate A.
we entered the New stadium through the western side or west club entrance.
these stairs will be the exits.

this is actually the walkway for the lower visitors side (west side) lower levels and uppers. the mezz will have personal elevators with doormen prohibiting non members from entering.

we had to walk up 8 flights of stairs to reach the area where the West Club Seating is. this is exclusive club for mezz sideline PSL seating. not endzone mezz seating.

as you can see from this picture the mezzanine is as high as the first row of Giants Stadium Upper Deck!!!! i confirmed with the consultants with this info.

    IS THAT BETTER ASSHOLE?

Copy the image location and remove the ".th" You'll get a full size image.

VIEWS FROM SECTION 219 WHICH IS THE CHEASPEST PSL @ $5000 WHICH YOU CAN STILL GET ACCESS TO THE CLUBS. THE $4000 PSL'S BETWEEN THE SCOREBOARD AND ALCOHOL FREE ARE NOT PERMITTED IN CLUBS.

THE WHITE TRAILER WOULD BE THE JETS BENCH WITH THE CLUB SEAT BEHIND IT. NOT A BAD VIEW FOR $5000 PSL AND A $4000 A YEAR GAME TICKETS!!!!!!

Excellent job with the photos. Thanks!!! Did they care that you took them? Should I bring a decent camera with me if I go? Could be my only trip inside...

Regarding the height, driving by it's obvious this will be a taller stadium, however the current stadium's field is below ground level - you can see this at each end where vehicles have to drive down a driveway. The new stadium's playing field will be higher, which compensates for some of the extra height. I heard Woody mention this a month or so ago when they first did a story from inside the stadium. I know its coming from him, but I believe it to be true.

So, while the new stadium will be higher, the playing field will be about 10 to 20 or so feet higher as well I'm guessing.

Another question: Did they give you an idea how the stadium will alternate between Jets and Giants? Will it be through lighting or do those slats along the sides move or flip?

THE CURRENT STADIUM IS 20 FEET I BELIEVE AND THIS STADIUM WILL BE ONLY 9. SO NOT MUCH AND REMEMBER ITS NOT JUST THE HEIGHT DIFFERENCE BUT YOU ARE PUSHED MUCH FURTHER BACK.

I WILL GET TO THE OUTSIDE SOON.

cool to get to get in there and check it out. thanks for the pics!

those upper deck seats are way way way too far away from the field. there is far too much going on between the lower and upper deck. it also appears as though the mezz really doesnt have any cover like it used to, or am i not seeing it properly?

even the mezz is too high for my liking, its like having 2 stadiums one with fans down low and then another with fans out a half a mile away.

kinda disappointing but this is what stadiums are these days, lots of flash not so homely. oh well.

those are TREMENDOUS! it must be quite impressive...I wonder what the deal is with the dark and light colored seats??? there must be a reason for it...perhaps to look more crowded if they are empty?? i have no clue, but its odd that they dont have one solid color.
