Overall, great job by most GMs, I hope everyone enjoyed the 3 Rd Mock. You Guys steped up big time! Thanks!!

The GM's that made all their picks in this draft and forwarded their draftboards will be given 2 teams, if they want two teams. A GM that missed at least 2 or more picks (Didn't respond to my PM's or never sent a draftboard) may not be offered, I have to check the circumstances. There were 2 GMs that missed 2 picks and NEVER replyed to my PM's. I don't know if I can count on them for the Rd 7 Mock.

I will probably PM each GM individually and ask which Teams they would like. I would stress to each GM to be fair and not take 2 teams at the top of the draft or multiple picks, I will have final say. I will offer Teams to the GMs that made all their picks...first.

Assigning the Jets........I try to rotate it each year. I will never take the Jets, I have enough fun running this draft, I want others to have a chance.

I know it's impossible to make everyone happy, I try to be fair with all. IMO, being a GM in this draft is a PRIVILAGE, not a right.....you need to earn your way.

The 7 Round Mock' NY Jet's GM....will be Jabba......for his help the past few years, he's been the one person, I could count on all the time and NEVER let me down. I hope everyone will agree, Jabba deserves it. Alot of people give me credit for this draft, but Jabba has helped me in developing this draft and I have stolen alot of his ideas. Green Hurricane has been a big help in the history of TGG's Mock draft.

The 7 RD Mock will start at the very end of March or early April, I want to get FA done and Comp picks included. I will be contacting GM's individually via PM in the next few days for Team selection. I will start with GM's not missing picks and the help I received from them. MAKE SURE ALL GMS HAVE THEIR PM BOX ENABLED.

I will be selecting a couple of Newbies (They will be Known to all) for the 7 Round draft, they can't miss a pick or it could be removal. I have already PMed the new GM's, they are regulars on this board and have shown a commintment to our draft, even though they weren't a GM. I will start a waitlist for New GMs, but it may be difficult to get a chance.

ALL newbies have to realize this is a "huge commitment"and your fellow GM's are relying on you to make timely picks. Missing picks, not forwarding draftboards slows the process. I will have little to no tolerance in the Rd 7 mock.

I want to thank, Jabba, Mr E. & Baker for their help stepping up this year.....appreciate it.

Also, I enjoy running this draft, it's a labor of love. They only way this draft will continue to be succussful, is to have a strong core group of GMs that understand the rules and want the draft to succeed. I'm very proud to be associated with such a great group of draftniks, you guys make this draft possible.

Any Comments or ideas would be appreciated. I don't want people to think this is WW85's draft, it isn't, I'm just the commish.....it's everyone's draft.

Would it move the draft along faster to have people text each other when they've made their picks instead of sending a PM ? Everybody has a phone and would get pretty much immediate notice that they were on the clock. I think it would substantially speed things up - which would be a big help when the 7 round draft occurs. Also maybe fewer people would miss their picks altogether.

I don't think it would be that great a violation of people's privacy. We'd all have to give WW85 our telephone # but he could give out only the #'s each person would need. So If I had St. Louis I'd only know Kansas City's #. I think we could all live with that.

What does everyone think about that idea ?

Really we worked the PMs well last year and it didnt take very long. We just need to have a committed 14-16 GMs and I see that at least we got 10-11.

I dont know so much about the phone, not my cup of tea.

Not a good idea. Personal email might work better than PM.

I think it's a nice idea, but may be difficult for everyone to participate.

This draft runs about as smooth as it can on a message board.....96 picks in less than 6 days I think is very good. That's even better than last year.

I have very little sympathy for GMs missing a pick, I understand emergencies arise. Otherwise, there is no reason to miss a pick.......when you can send a draftboard to myself or another GM.

Well, it was just an idea. I do everything by text so I assumed others might like to do so as well.

It would work for me. If you pick right before me or right after me, we could do the text thing.

I said it before, I'll say it again, I would love to be considered for a GM position in the 7 round Mock.

I know I missed my 2nd round pick in the 3 round draft, but I'd love to have a shot at a team in the 7 round draft. Sounds like it would be extremely fun.

I'm waiting on replys from 3 or 4 regular GMs......for the Six remaining open spots.

If they don't reply....I will give regular Gm's that got only 1 team, a second team.

3 new GM's have been offered 1 team.......Popeye's army, l29washington & FiremanEdJr....hope everyone makes them feel welcomed. They understand the rules and importance of making timely picks. I believe it's good to open the draft to a few new GM's every year. If you're a Vet GM in good standing you have nothing to worry about.

They all 3 newbies have been part of our 3 Rd Mock...... viewing, discussions, & offering to make picks and especially have been on this board a majority of the time.

I tried to be fair offering spots first, to Regular GM's who have demonstrated a true commitment to this draft.

Welcome back......... PinPointPenning10, he was unable to participate inthe Rd 3 mock.

I'd want a GM spot. I'm down for the text thing, whoever picks before me and after me should exchange phone numbers so we can pick quickly.

When does the 7 round draft start ? I'd guess sometime after the Combine ?
