Right now you believe Russell and his 77.1 QB rating indicate he is a franchise player, and you use the QB situation as your only argument against Jets. You believe your WR corps of Higgens, Schillens, and Watkins is "young and exciting" because of their 40 times and height. If your logic is applied league-wide every team in the NFL has a young and exciting WR corps because of the speed and height of the receivers. The aforementioned 3 guys have done nothing to warrant any respect from any fanbase but because they are in the Raider system they must be good right? You can throw the 40+ yrs of futility in our faces all you want, we realize our franchise has underachieved, but you never eat crow. You refuse to admit the Raiders have been worst team in football since 03 (as per the stats; less wins than Detroit since) but the fact of the matter is that Jets futility does not cover Raider ineptitude. Can you please give me the formula for equating prior success to current satisfaction? I'm a little fuzzy on the numbers. So, 2 AFC Championship Games + 1 Super Bowl Appearance = 6 Losing Seasons? Or, does it slightly outweigh 6 losing seasons since you're still excited about '09? So, an AFC Championship Game appearance/loss is worth 3 losing seasons? A SB appearance/loss is 5? Is that how it works? You're good through next season? Sorry, bear with me, I'm just trying to get it all sorted. So, let's say you have a Bills fan. His team went to 4 straight Super Bowls, winning none. That ended in 1994. So, technically, his team is guaranteed to be good through 2014? I mean 4 Super Bowl Appearances x 5 years each = 20 Happiness Years. Sorry, have to spell it out. I don't get to do math all day on the McDonalds register like you. Again I posted Jamarcus Russell numbers first eight games and last eight games. (look them up) They clearly show he was coming on and those numbers were a big reason Tom Cable got the head coaching job. Again if you haven't noticed Raiders cleaned house on defense.(the whole staff is gone) You think that was by accident. That Raider defense is loaded with some serious talent that Ryan failed to utilize properly. It was defintely time for a change. Again How many Super bowls have your Owner or FO ever won or been in. MY owner Al Davis has been involved in getting them to two AFc championship and one superbowl this decade. NOw i ask you which organization has a track record getting to championship game. So i would worry more about your owner deliver the goods(Championship) than my owner. Al Davis is not in the hall of fame without a reason. Here is the formula . Jets are going on 41 years without a championship . Haven't even sniff one in a long time. MY contention is that number reaches fifty they should take away the Jet franchise forever. Put the franchise out of its misery. I know you have no experience breaking in a franchise QB(you keep passing on them in the draft) Again it just takes time. Do you Know Peyton Manning threw 11 interceptions his first three games. Usually franchise QB don't come into situation Flacco and Matt Ryan came into. (solid Olines and running game) Raiders upgrade their oline and everyone will see just how good Russell is and the Raiders offense.(strong draft for OT this year and everything looking good) We saw it down the stretch already when Mario Henderson took over LT. Now on to WRs, I say what I do is because if you look at Both Schilens and Higgins what they did down the stretch . They proved they have a very bright future. ( Look at AL davis press conference couldn't praise both anymore) Raiders best Young WR(the guy they like the best is Arman Shields- who they IR so he can be 100% healthy in 2009) That not counting a DJ hall who was real impressive in Giant camp last year but lost out on the numbers. Raiders have alot of young exciting Wrs it just takes time to develope. NOw Raiders have one of the best all round Tes Zach Miller. You throw in the running backs Raiders have(Fargas, Mcfadden-rather limited last year since week two with turf toe and M Bush) Raiders couldn't utilize these RBs in the passing game as much as they wanted as this position had the injury bug last year. Again all the horses are there on offense , if they upgrade the oline. Really just need a RT if what Mario Henderson did at LT(dominated) was no fluke. Now another reason why Raiders chances are looking Great. AFc West is down. IF Mcfadden was healthy last year they just might have won the AFc West . Raiders are extremely young on both sides of the ball and sooner or later they are going to start winning and Big.

Russell has yet to throw for 3000 in his career, please refrain from ever comparing the two. What exactly did Schillens and Higgins do down the stretch? In the last 9 games they had 7 catches and 15 catches respectively. Very dangerous. Shields is yet to catch a f*ckin' pass in the NFL, and is the equivalent of Marcus Henry as for as you are concerned. If you want to base the young and exciting label on TC performances then you must have high expectations for David Clowney? Saying your QBs development depends on oline upgrades is a cop-out. We could say the exact same about Kellen Clemens. Look what Kerry Collins did this year with time in the f'n pocket. Yeah, your division sucks, largely due to the fact the Raiders are a part of it.
