I'm ecstatic about the recruits for my Cardinal. The Pac 10 shifting linebackers left no Telfort, and Te'O let us hang around to the end, but a solid class overall. We haven't been competitive in football since I was there, but a few key wins the past two seasons have given every indication that Harbaugh is turning things around. Today confirms that.

I haven't had a chance to look at the full class yet, but Ray Ray Armstrong is the real deal. If he keeps his academics up, no doubt he will be playing on Sundays. He's that good already. I've watched him and Dyron Dye tear up the HS fields for 2 years. Ray is simply incredible.

    Wow, no shit?

Obviously not what I heard on my end. I did hear something about his attitude, though.

For all O'leary has done, good and bad, his history of recruiting usually shows he only goes after students with class and level heads. Hopefully he works out well, a lot of the rivals crowd think he is our best signee, ahead of Josh Robinson.

Im pretty upset that Janzen Jackson snubbed LSU to go to Tennessee but that's recruiting. I was skeptical because Jacksons father was applied for a coaching job at Tennessee but did not get the job so I thought Jackson would stay with the Tigers

Orgeron is good at stealing players, plus he had to make up for running Marlon Brown out of town.

Arkansas fans have filed a complaint against Ole Miss. These idiots just don't quit. This is from a guy on an Arkansas message board who wrote this to the NCAA too.

well in next years class news...I have found the next Vernon Gholston...his cousin William Gholston, apparently this kid has offers from a good portion of the Tiny 10 schools as I like to call them including offers from Florida, Miami, and ND. But if one thing stands out its that one of the Tiny 10 schools not looking at Gholston is...you guessed it Ohio State

    actually FSU is ranked

    6th by Rivals.com
    17th by Scout.com
    8th by ESPN

FSU has some prospects that are believed to be steals that werent considered sexy recruits by Scout. plus any college in the state of Florida always has 1 or 2 players who were ranked like 3 stars due to the overcoverage of other instate prospects that end up being huge. I think the variation in the rankings also is because FSU has some of its recruits willing to switch positions to take the field earlier so how that pans out can make the higher or lower ones more accurate. we'll see though.

Stealing no 2 corner and playmaker Greg Reid from UF really made the class aside from Jacobi McDaniels. Reid had 2 INT's alone in the Under Armour game.

As mentioned previously I'm still waiting for a real QB to show up for FSU, hoping redshirt fresh EJ Manuel steps in soon and lives up to the hype of being last years number 1 pro style qb.

What the hell is Kiffin thinking?

this is worse than a rookie mistake... why piss of rival coaches who win national titles in your division? High school coaches who feed the league with talent? Kiffin is having a few Al Davis moments...

Tiny 10? Weak excuse of an insult

And MSU has been recruiting him for months and we have a strong pipeline in Ohio, it will be interesting to see who gets him.

Kiffin is such a tool. It's going to be fun beating up the Vols in Oxford.

Utah would waste Ole Miss. Don't knock mid-major teams.

I'm willing to bet that Fresno, Boise, Utah, BYU, and TCU would put up at least 40 on Ole Miss/LSU.

    ^--:drunk:

I'm picking on conference usa, a mid major conference that actually has the balls to schedule my team. Until one of the teams youve mentioned grows a pair and calls ole miss to play them, I couldn't care less. We're the SEC, you call us if you want to try your luck, we don't call you.

Seriously, the SEC is the NFL minor league.

How many seniors from your favorite LSU get drafted next year? My money says 90% of them at the very least.

Can any one team in the Big Joke match that?

    EDIT:

    Can anyone compete with this?

oh man. picking on CUSA? slow night for you?

    Urban Meyer. Tool.
    Nick Saban. Tool.
Les Miles. Tool. But one of my favorite coaches.
Steve Spurrier. He coached Florida and the Skins, automatic Tool.

    Relax man.

I know you haven't been around for awhile Mike, but I'm a very neutral college poster. I have an obvious/blind/obnoxious bias for UCF, I hate the Big East, and every time Urban Meyer wins, a part of me dies inside.

Wait a second, didn't Utah just crush the SEC runner-up in this year's Sugar Bowl?

Your Rebs went 9-4 and you think they are something great. It's the first year they've been good in a while. Go undefeated like the Utes and then run your mouth.

Ole Miss is a bottom-feeder in the SEC. I'm glad it makes you feel good that their are good teams in your conference.
