Depends on what they demand. I expect Lewis to demand a 5-6 year deal with about $10 million a year. I don´t think we can give that to him, because we already got a lot of money tied up to 30+ players.

Scott on the other hand should come to a reasonable price and should be on top of his game thou out the entire contract.

    I´d go with Scott.

I just looked it up because I didn't know this and I found that the murder charges against Lewis were actually dropped. If they thought he actually murdered someone would they drop the charges?

I don't know much about the case at all, but it seems to me they just wanted to get money out of him.

I said Lewis awhile back, and I still feel he is the one guy I would want from Baltimore. His leadership skills and his energy that he would bring to each game would be an awesome thing to have here.

Yea what happened was that all the witnesses changed what they supposedly saw or heard. I think he personally paid them off but thats just me. I like him as a player I just dont like the stigma that goes along with him and in NY they might pick through this more.

    There's arguments for both players....

    1) if you're going for youth, and longevity with the team....Bart Scott is your choice.

    2) if Leadership and motivation is your priority, then it's Ray Ray.

Both players are excellent LB's and I would love to have either one or both on this roster. They just bring different intangibles like the ones i mentioned above.

The last three years, Scott has been better than Lewis.

Did no one else notice that Lewis is helpless in the 3-4? He was a shell of himself before this season.

I"m going to have to disagree with your there, Yis.....Ray Ray has been consistent every year. His solo tackles have declined slightly...but the guy is still a beast even at his age. I've listed his stats for the last 5 seasons....the proof is in the pudding, my friend. :)

I wouldn't mind either one honestly. But I would prefer Scott. I think this team needs to get younger and building for the future. Even though Lewis is still playing well now, who knows for how long? Plus he is going to have a high price tag.

This team is built to win now. We don't need to build for the future.

Maybe. But it isn't like Scott is a rookie. He has experience but is much younger than Lewis. I definitely wouldn't mind Lewis, but I think Scott is the better option.

Get this straight: Lewis will demand one of the most lucrative contracts for LBs in the NFL history.

DWare will probably sign that biggest LB contract in the NFL history. Well thats the word around here anyways.

    So? Tackles don't mean anything.

Ray Lewis is a better player but I'll pick Scott because he's younger and won't cost as much
