    We can agree to disagree.

Nicks is the best of the 3 and makes Heyward-Bey's hands look like stone.

Well....yeah, there aren't stats one can use to measure a wide receivers blocking ability

But if you watch the guy play he does have question marks.....his ability to block shouldn't be one of them.

I am curious as to why you like this player. I would think the only people who have seen this guy play are people who attended his games.
You list your location as "Upstate Ny".

Heyward Bey doesnt stretch the middle like someone previously stated. But keep in mind Maryland NEVER, i mean NEVER tries to build an offense around the passing attack its always been defense and running there. So I'd consider DHB as a raw talent. now when you say that, it makes coaching him more of a crapshoot

the safest pick out of the three IMO is Nicks, ive been talkin about him the last few days cuz I live in FL so i watch ACC ball and the guy will be an absolute steal wherever he goes. cuz I think hes someone who can start year 1 and not look back.

I like Britt but Nicks hands are so good you rarely see that out of prospects nowadays its usually all about size speed ratio and all the other measurables. but not to mention Nicks has a nice size and build to go with the athleticism and amazing hands

    Nicks.

Kenny Britt please. 6'4, 215 lbs. i like his height and he fast as shit. I feel he didnt get the attention he deserved cause he played for rutgers, the only people who recognize him are people in the tri state area.

jets can use a guy thats 6 inches taller the the average db, for those jump balls. Plus all the best wr's in the league are 6'3 or taller, and add a better dimension to the passing gane.

Steve Smith is barely 5'9 and Anquan Boldin is 6'1.

    I win.

Yes, DHB does have question marks. Right now, all we know is he's really fast for a tall receiver.

He hasn't proved anything as a big time receiving threat because Maryland's passing game is so bad.

Nicks has been consistently productive since 2006. He goes over the middle. He has the best hands in this draft. He's WAY more physical than DHB.

Im always a big fan of the draft and researching players. When it started getting late in the season and I started researching positions I thought we might need to address in the draft. I researched WR's first I think we need a tall WR with above average speed and good hands. I came across Ramses in my research with his 6'6 230 pd frame he has the size to be a beast then I watched some game tape on youtube and liked what I saw.

Thank you but I believe I did when I said none. I dont think we should use a 1st or 2nd rounder in the draft on WR (which we would need to do on any of these 3) its a need I just dont think we can afford to waste a high pick on a position that historically is hard to get good results in them. If any fell into 3rd then I would say I like Britts.

Nicks looks like he could make the transition as a player in the style of Boldin, I like him alot, I wouln't mind either of the other two in the second, if we get a great need filled in the first

    C'mon man...

Ramses Barden isn't even close to Nicks, Britt, and even DHB, who I'm not high on.

He's played against inferior competition his entire college career. Watch all the youtube videos you want - he's a man amongst boys at Cal Poly. He's going to look dominant playing against 5'9 175 white safeties.

Above average speed, seriously? He runs between the high 4.5s and low 4.6s. DHB is a burner.

You're right about his "good" hands, but he doesn't have great hands like Hakeem Nicks.

The size to be a beast? More like a hybrid tight end. I think he'll be a threat in the redzone, but he's not Plaxico Burress...not even close.

Here's the main thing I don't like about Barden: people around here think he's some kind of deep threat, when he's clearly just a mismatch player that lacks receiver speed. He has trouble getting separation at the I-AA level, what do you think he'll do in the NFL?

He's a small forward playing wide receiver. I don't know if he'll be able to make the transition smoothly, but I think Barden's future in the NFL should be at tight end.

Please...everyone that gives a damn about college football knows who Kenny Britt is.

He's being projected as a late first, early second round pick BEFORE the combine.

His name isn't even close to being irrecognizable...

Your right and I said in the other post I dont think we should spend a 1st or 2nd rounder on WR when its not the most pressing need.

Every year players come out that are like this. That make it into the NFL

I do believe that when Plax ran the 40 he only ran like a 4.5 4.6.

I forgot to say with the exception of smith and boldin. However..... How bout the likes of Randy Moss, Owens, Fitzgerald, Calvin johnson, Andre Johnson, Marshall, Vincent Jackson, Braylon Edwards? The list of ELITE WR'S goes on and on. What they all have in common, they're 6'3 or better. The guys you mentioned are great too, as well as other shorter wr's. But the players i mention are elite. Plus steve smith has incredible hops, he could probably dunk.

    So yeah........ I Win!!!!

I've always liked DHB but I dont think Nicks is as crucial for the Jets as a speed guy

The Top ten receivers this season:

    Andre Jonhson - 6'3"
    Larry Fitzgerald - 6'3"
    Steve Smith - 5'9"
    Roddy White - 6'0"

    Calvin Johnson - 6'5"
    Greg Jennings - 5'11"
    Brandon Marshall - 6'4"
    Antonio Bryant - 6'1"
    Wes Welker - 5'9"
    Reggie Wayne - 6'0"

6 of the ten top receiving yardage players are under 6'3". So no, you do not win. As an added bonus you look like an idiot trying to do it. Braylon Edwards as an elite receiver? Bullshit. This is the most over rated wideout in the league. His hands are crap. Give me a guy who runs great routes with great hands over the 6'4" guy with speed and the dropsies any day. There is more to football then combine numbers. Try and learn that before you try to look smart.

While I agree with everything you said, we already have the WR's who aren't big but have excellent hands, ball skills, etc (Cotchery, Coles, Stuckey). The closest thing we have to a pure mismatch is Keller because of his size and speed.

If we can get a tall guy with outstanding hands and ball skills, think about what that does for both the other WRs as well as the entire Offense.
