I just want to know if they let you go upstairs so I can decide if I should show an interest in taking the tour. I also have a conflict with the other guys I am going with, they want the sunny side and I want whatever side yields us the best tickets, so I was wondering if they were gonna give us a chance to pick what side for the UD or just give us the best. If its close, I will give in and take the sunny side. Not sure if the tour is the time to ask, but if it seems to be, please ask. Thanks buddy and enjoy. Also, ask what color the seats are gonna be.

I'm new here and been trying to post on this topic. Was wondering if anyone has a copy of the PSL playbook. The Jets told me they were going to have me in there as Lenny in Section 337 with a seniority date of 1991 with a quote that the upper deck would be sold out after 1983. Just wondering if anyone knows if they included me in there since I won't get my playbook until March 2nd.

Actually, if you go to the Jets stadium page you can view the construction cameras for the exterior and now for the interior. The seats look either black or a dark gray: http://www.newyorkjets.com/stadium/view_construction_cam Go to the interior panoramic shot and you can get a pretty good closeup of the seats to the left.
Man... some of those Upper seats are pretty far away from the field. It looks like the whole "shelf" is further out... just what we had thought all along from the early diagrams. The entire stadium is spread out more laterally, instead of stacked up nice as the current stadium is. That makes the views in the current stadium actually better than the ones in the new stadium. Ridiculous.
What can I tell you? I saw the 3D diagram and noticed that the UD looks farther away and the place looks ugly with those grey seats. You are gonna be there.... what the hell
What difference does the color of seat make since once there is a fanny in the seat U do not see the color anyway?

Thanks for the link, even though quotes we've heard since 2005 indicate something different. I know I've read numerous times since that the Giants owners were adamant about no dome. One of the questions I did ask one of the posters above who's going was about the dome, so maybe we'll be able to get a current statement. Who pissed in your cornflakes ?? If you reread what I posted, I tried to respectfully suggested that I had heard different things regarding a roof on the new Stadium..as recently as the Giants PSL announcement when John Mara was on with Mike Francesa, he stated..and used the words..that he was "adamantly opposed" to a roof. And in every other conversation with a Mara or a Tisch. If your only source is a 4 year old newspaper article..please read the follow from 6 months later when John Mara says: Sounds pretty adamant to me. Either way, you can disagree with me....I don't care..I don't mind debate. But you come off as a cranky old man.
