So he was offensive coordinator for the Ravens when....Kyle Boller was leading their prolific offense?

I believe Cavanaugh was replaced by Cam Cameron.

EDIT: my bad...Cavanaugh was replaced by Jim Fassel ....and then Cameron replaced Fassel.

At least he was there for Jamal Lewis' 2,066 yard season.

I remember him being a backup for the Giants. Turns out he beat the Bills with them in the Super Bowl AND he was on the 49ers team that beat the Dolphins in 1984. Cool.

Didn't Cavanaugh get into a fist fight with Mark Gastineau when Cavanaugh was a member of the Patriots?

I'll take your word for it...I was 5 years old last time he played for the Pats.

He was also a coach for the Super Bowl Champion Ravens.

Dude's got 3 rings. All he does is win the Super Bowl!

I remember him at Pitt and with the Pats, playing behind Steve Grogan. I don't remember him in a fight with Gastineau but it's possible.

Hmm, I wonder if he'll heavily suggest we take McCoy should he fall to 17.
