Then You don't know Football and you don't want to win. Sounds like you got some haterade running through your veins. Roddy White is in his 4th Season. Using Roddy to make your point shows an ignorance and bias on your part. It doesn't prove your point, it just shows that you are biased and the fact that you don't want the Jets to win.

i cant agree with you any more he has n o clue what even a football looks like.. roddy white in 07 had basicly the same numbers with joey harrington as the qb. before that the media made fun of him for always droping the ball

    K. Warner is a very good QB who has two Pro Bowl WRs at his disposal. That team was constantly putting up huge numbers on offense, its just that the defense finally caught up.

Have you watched Falcon games? Vick can't throw!! He has a great arm, but his accuracy is HORRENDOUS!!

    Yeah!
He was the reason I got the NFL Sunday ticket for DirecTV.
I've watched all the Falcon games, and I know.
His accuracy was not the Falcons biggest problem
His problem was no Offensive Line, and Inexperienced WRs.
His best numbers are with Alge Crumpler because they were both drafted that season. They have experience together. Something that he never had with WRs.
West Coast Offense for a guy that can throw the ball 70+ yards down the field does not match. His best numbers were from 2002 because it played to his strength which was throwing the ball down the field. Not that dink and dunk crap.

You just make my point that we need playmakers. Warner has two and we have one who plays part-time on offense (Leon Washington).
Talent and good coaching is what it takes.
I don't know about the coach, but our talent needs and upgrade.

Vick is not the answer though. Not only does he bring with him the baggage but as a QB is just not very good.

There are other choices out there, better ones. The only argument that you could make for Vick is that he would be cheap, at least he better be.

Vick is a joke, anyone who thinks he should QB our team is smoking rock. he was given numerous chances and failed, not to mention when your only asset is scrambling and you just spent the last yr or so behind bars Id guess your not as agile or fast as your used to.

And I dont care that he can throw it 60+ yards, the guys accuracy is practically laughable if you want to talk consistency. also we dont have a legit deep threat who can constantly get open on flys and posts which seem to be the only routes hed ever hit.

not to mention the BIGGEST story about him was he showed a complete lack of preparation and dedication. What makes guys like Tom Brady and Peyton Manning great aside from their imponderables is the film study and extra time they put in with recievers. word is Vick seldomly did this or shrugged it off.

no thanks, a very mediocre QB whos greatest asset is his athleticism coming off a jail stint nearing 30? no thank you.

im actually surprised this is some kind of debate. Vick is better off hitting the weight room and becoming a third down back/ gadget play specialist. and it wont be in a jets UNI.

I'm sure Woody sees employing a federal interstate criminal as good publicity to the pricey PSL's

Personally I'd be fine with Vick wearing green and white. I love dogs, but the man served his time and seems to have turned his life around, plus he appears to have good leadership qualities and would be good for Geno.

I am a little skeptical of his on field abilities at this stage in his career, but that is the only reason I would be cautious.....off field I have no issues with him. I think he would be a solid candidate to compete with Geno next year IMO.

I thought Daniel signed a 3-yr deal earlier this year. Moore was a free agent last year and resigned with Miami, but I am not sure for how many years.

He would be a great change of pace wildcat QB. But I do not think he could be a 3 down QB on this team. With our OL and MM as the playcaller he would get killed and be a sack machine. Vick is much better off staying in Philly backing up Foles.

He did, 3 years $10 million. Moore signed a 5 year $14 million contract. Unfortunate for us on Daniels as we were alleged to be very high on wanting to sign Daniels last off-season.

My only issue with this signing would be Vick's health. We need a healthy veteran to back up Geno (and provide some competition early one), and Vick isn't that veteran. He's injured more than he's healthy nowadays, so I would probably pass.

no to vick. don't think for a minute the hacks that cover the team won't bring up all his baggage the minute he was to sign here. would be more unwanted noise for an aging not that good of a qb anyway. i'd rather get a mcnown type who knows his role as a back up if thats how it ends up.

I wouldn't be opposed to bringing Vick in. He'd be here strictly as a backup to push Geno. I think Geno can learn from Vick.
