Exactly what I was saying to the wifey. The Cards couldn't make a defensive stop and the Steelers marched right down the field. I kinda knew they were gonna go back to Holmes and lets face it, that was one helluva catch.

Steelers won this game because they were simply better than the Cardinals when it counted..

It cannot come down on the ground, that rule was was the rule that overturned the Chambers TD against us in '02 and the Coles TD vs. NO in '05. The ball cannot come down on the field even though he never bobbled it as it hit the ground. If theyr eviewed it the play would have been overturned.

The first half of this year's game sucked until the Harrison pick. The 3rd quarter continued the suckage and then the game picked up in the fourth quarter.

Last year's game had a story to it: The Giants were shutting down probably the most prolific offense the NFL had ever seen. The Patriots looked unstoppable up to that point. It was shocking. It was comparable only to the Pats-Rams SB and Super Bowl III.

This year's game was riddled with penalties which killed any flow or rhythm all night, a couple of exciting individual moments and then a pretty damn good fourth quarter. The game felt kind of broken to me, but the end was sweet.

    Last year was definitely better.

Oh snap, posted in the wrong thread. Haha.

I'm not sure as to what you are referencing with the Fitz catch, but this is what I was saying. The ball can touch the ground but the receiver must maintain control.

The Chambers play in 2002 was ruled incomplete because they said Chambers bobbled the ball and didn't have complete control of it as he was going out of the back of the endzone.

We may be talking about two different things because I'm not sure what you are referencing. I will have to look again later.

I don't know if the rule has since been tweaked but if any part of the ball lands on ground it's incomplete or they have been ruling it incorrectly for years.
