Congrats man, this one must feel much better than Super Bowl XL, you know, because you kind of earned this one. Kind of.
You didn't think Super Bowl XL was the most rigged sporting event ever? Everything went against Seattle, who clearly played the better game.
There is no doubt the NFL wanted Bettis to go out on top and at home. Anyway, thats over now. Congrats on your one for the other thumb. That is sweet. I just feel bad for the little guy (Arizona). They reminded me of an NFC version of the Jets. And losing the Super Bowl proved it for me.
That was a very good game by the Steelers. Big Ben is truly a clutch QB, and a great football player. I had a great time in that 4th quarter watching him and Fitzgerald on the other side play out of their minds. I was pulling for the Cards, but I figured that the game would keep going the way of the first quarter. I was disappointed by the number of penalties, but all the calls were good, just too many called by the refs, IMO. That catch that Santonio made was a perfect catch of a perfect throw.
Not really, There's one chant that resonates throughout the NFL. It screams of pride & power. Fans & Teams are envious. :jets: Unfortunately, the team on the field doesn't reflect it ...ugh. congrats.
...and here I thought it was just your fans way of trying to remember how to spell the team name. ;-)
