Tough pick for me there. I really considered going DT, but Addai wasn't very good this year and McCoy adds a big playmaker to the offense.

EXCELLENT PICK, Grim .. I would have made the same pick for Indy in your spot

As for my Eagles, this team is loaded at the skill positions now

RB Tandem - Brian Westbrook & Beanie Wells

3 WIDE - DeSean Jackson, Percy Harvin & Kevin Curtis

No shortage of playmakers and you can't account for everyone

I like what they are doing in Atlanta and surrounding Ryan with players is important, he looks like a great full package TE so he will help out Turner as well

Got a wi-fi while my wife is working on her essay for a minute, cheers all, good luck

On the Cards pick: In all honesty, this is the safe pick - There was another player on the board that would have been a huge boom/bust pick here, but I'm high on Johnson so I didn't see the need to take the risk. Expect Travis LaBoy to be happy about this pick.

Definitely a nice pick by Atlanta. Good value at that spot and fills an imporant need to give a young QB a solid TE. The pair can grow together over the next few years.

Philly's picking DeSean Jackson II over a OT - that I can't see. Tra Thomas is pretty old at LT and a successor is badly needed. One of the picks should have gone there.

  7. Sorry I missed my Pats pick guys. I'm extremely embarassed and pissed at myself for it. This is the fastest moving mock ive ever been apart of and i thought for sure i wouldnt be up till today. Sorry again guys..

Atl's pick was probably my favorite of Rd 1.

Wolfe picking the TE for Atlanta was perfect, Atlanta fans will be doing cartwheels if he falls that far. Buffalo may pick Pettigrew in April. Pettigrew is one of the most well-rounded TEs to come into the league in a while. A Blocking TE s a lost art, but Pettigrew can do the job.

Talk about no size at the receiver position - but that's a hell of a lot of speed on the field.

You forgot Hank Baskett he's 6'4". Although, the Eagles seem to use him as a Hybrid once in a while. The rest of the Eagles receivers are smurfs.

I think Baskett's a restricted free agent in 2009, so they better hope no one wants him. He may be worth a 3rd or 4th round pick.

They'd out of luck in the red zone if Baskett bolts for free agency in 2010 when he's unrestricted...

Wells and Harvin were very nice picks for the Eagles. I think OL is an area of concern but I don't think that OL would have been the best value in either spot.

Every year I like your drafts. This one is great! That would be an insane offense.

I hope you didn't mind Alphonso Smith...............

it was a toss up between, A Smith, Sean Smith or J. L.

I felt corner had to be addressed. The Pats have alot of needs DE/OLB, another MLB, CB, S.... on defense, there getting old.

I wanted Alex Mack for the Steelers but he went to Tenn. at 30 so Tyson Jackson seemed like a good value. Still a very good 3-4 end prospect and should go well on that defense.

If Jackson made it past the Steelers, it would have been hard for me to pass on him.

Still, I filled three of the four holes I trying to fill with my first three picks - LB, OT, QB

Not really the eagles style to go for skill positions early, but really thinking about it both picks makes sense get RB to help out Westbrook and a another to help receiver.Although i think a taller reciever would have been a better pick since they have a similar player in Jackson already

Nesquik, please delete the player name from your post. He hasn't been taken yet.
