    No owner ever talks about the security of his coach if the guy is "totally safe". If the topic has come up that means the guy is on thin ice and the quicker the owner shuts the topic down, as Woody was routinely doing last spring, the thinner the ice.

    An owner talking about a coach who was really secure would take the time to explain why in an indepth fashion that could not be misinterpreted. That coach also gets an extension early.
