I've decided I'm only using a maximum of about 3 players at a time, I beleive they need more attention then what they would get if you hade say over 20 players.

Now I only have one player.

Unless you are Obama , it doesn't really take much time to organise 20 players or 3 players , quick training editor ???
I have 24 players , and look after them all , oh and GM 9 teams plus run my own...but then I'm addicted

I think that's way too much to be able to give the attention to your players as i do, I just made a kicker though. I think when it comes to Gm/ owning, one team is definitely the limit I would take so I can get to know the players, understand how they are building, and therefore help in my strategies, and BTW how can you become a GM?

An owner of a team has to give you GMing rights.

So how does someone like gustoonarmy get 9 GMing jobs, do you just go up to a bunch of owners and ask to be a GM?

you could do that. Or you could have friends who own a team. or one team has a lot of the same agents.

I GM 2 teams. the agents on both of them are almost all the same guys. My roommate GMs 3 teams, one team he doesnt even have a player on, they just like his scouting reports.

I definitely don't believe in using your own players in the teams you GM, I beleive they should be separate and that it's unfair to have your player on your team just because he's yours, but anyway thanks for answering.

Not everyone is selfish you know. Of course you can have players on teams you own and GM. Again I'll use myself as an example , (and there are many like me).
I GM a few teams where my players are 2nd string , it doesn't bother me , its a team game , and sometimes they get better playmaking games at that spot.
Parden me for saying this , but you really need to broaden your outlook and think better of people , as you seem to be suggesting that most GMs are some kind of dictators. Not so , of course there are some like that.
To answear your earlier question , about becoming a GM. Be good at what you do and treat people with respect......The offers will come.

I disagree, as long as you're fair, it shouldnt matter how many players you have on the team. One of the owners of a team I'm on (He also GMs the same teams as I) has 19 players. All on teams he owns/GMs. When my RB came to his team, he had a better build then his RB, so he moved me up the depth chart. Having your players on your own team allows you to have good depth, solid backups in case a wildcard agent decides to pull a player or go inactive. I haven't had a bad experience with any of the GMs I know who have players on the teams. It also allows for a better Forum experience, less Agents + more activity.

Think what you will, I think not using your own players expands the possibilities, when you're not looking for a single build by making a player, you may just find a surprisingly new style that might work, it makes the team refreshing. Plus people should get that chance to be on a team if they are qualified for it, I know two people who are low on the depth chart, under the players the owner of the team has, even though they have better skills (both of them have better skills then the owners players) just because its the owners player. You don't see NFL GMs signing their children because they know that there are better players out there, and players that aren;t getting a chance because the owner is just using his own players. A few players to fill in gaps isn't bad, I believe having a starter being your player isn't right because, players focus on their skills more, because that is the only thing they have.

And I have no idea what the reasoning is for " Less people on a forum means more activity"

    Wrong wrong wrong.
As a team owner and GM I have access to the Depth chart and gameplan accordingly , for instance , my 2 ROTs are built slightly differently , one of which is my player and slightly faster but not as strong , but perfect for pitch plays , the other ROT is alot better on inside runs , I can start one over the other with no complaints to suit the game plan.
I really don't get why people get so wtapped up in being the starter , if your player is decent they will shine alot more against other teams 2nd strings.

With so many of us playing this game I'm surprised nobody has made a team the New York Gang Green or somethin. (of course with all of our players on the squad)

also, i added mostly everybody in here to my friends list, and on a side note: i am a booster and i do custom, and i have a level 35 (obviously will jump to 38 when season starts) WR i want to put on a different team. im thinking a team of players in their 20's or lower to mid 30's (stats baby!)

I'm sad, my (WRs) team hasn't won a single game yet, (even though my kickers is on a winning streak) and now I just want the season to end. I'm counting down the days till i get off that team, it sounds mean, but the GMs, overdue everything, one week we ran to much, then too little, and then too much, and we never kicked a fg till the 10th game, when I told the GM to change the AI. They are nice people, but i wan't a team I can really work with. too bad im still to low level to join one of you guys'.

I got 3 players that need a team. My DE, QB, and K.

DE - Level 11. Agent Name is TheJetChase

QB - Level 10. Agent Name is JetCanes 96

    K - Level 8. Agent name is JetCanes 96

can somebody just sign them for depth. My DE was putting up good numbers this year but contract ran up.
