    FA signings:

    NFL Draft:

    1. Darrius Heyward-Bey WR: In my first couple of mock offseason i had us taking Percy Harvin with our 1st rounder. But the more i look at it the more i see that taking percy harvin would be a major risk. Harvin is no doubt one of the most physical gifted players in this draft, But i feel that he is more of a tailback then a WR and by picking him in the 1st round would be a major gamble. Heyward-Bey is the Big,Fast,Strong,Physical WR that we have been missing for what seems like forever. I think he can give us the deep threat we need and the solid #1 WR we have been lacking. What more could you ask for?

    2. Rashad Johnson S: Our Secondary was terrible last year. Every Qb we played looked like freaking Tom Brady. With picking up McFadden that leaves one more spot to fill on our secondary for our secondary to be solid for years to come. Rashad Johnson is perfect Fit for our defense hes a ballhawk, he has excellent hands, hes tough and hes a excellent leader. By drafting Johnson we would be taking our secondary to another level.

    3. Ron Brace NT: You can never have enough NT depth when you run the 3-4and as of right now we have none behind our starter Jenkins. If this kid gets the right coaching he could be a solid NT within the next couple of years.

    QB: Clemens,Leftwich,Ratliff
    RB: TJ,Washington
    TE: Keller
    WR: Heyward-Bey,Cotchery,Clowney,Stuckey

    LT: Dbrick

    RG: Moore
    RT: Woody

    LE: Ellis
    NT: Jenkins
    RE: Coleman

    LILB: Harris
    RILB: Scott
    ROLB: Gholston

What makes you say that? He's pretty good against the run.

Yep. Holds well at the point of attack, swims amazingly well when the play is flowing away from him, and couldn't rush the passer if he was facing a cardboard cut-out. That's Coleman in a nutshell, and anyone saying that he is bad in general is full of it.

He IS, however, a truly horrendous pass rusher worthy of multiple mentions.

Did I mention he can't rush the passer?

It's not his job to rush the passer

When is the last time a rookie reciever produced well enough to be a number one reciever? I'm asking because I really don't know. Which leads me to believe that heyward-bey, based on statistical probability will not be a number one target next year. So you trade away one of our top two recievers, for garbage, and expect Bey to produce enough to offset the loss. not exactly a high probability choice.

Not saying Bey won't be good down the line, but it seems silly to trade coles away a year before Bey is ready.

    To name a few...

Anquan Boldin won OROY in 2003.

Marques Colston was a beast in 2006.

Eddie Royal was solid this year.

Wasn't Deshaun Jackson the leading receiver on the Eagles?

I like it I dont know how much all of those cuts will add up to but I know that Scott is going to want alot of money. But otherwise it looks like a solid mock offseason

I don't know how other's here feel about Heyward-Bey......but I don't get a good vibe about his long-term potential. I prefer Britt and Hicks who are in the second tier of WR's that could be late Rd 1, at worst early Rd2 picks.

With Cotch - Keller - Clowney - Stuckey - Smith - Washington - DHB as our receiving options, it really wouldn't be THAT much worse than the same list with Coles instead of DHB. And yes, Washington has lined up wide many times. And ya know what? DHB is going to progress, while Coles is going to regress. It would be a smart move.

You know, if it weren't for the whole "Coles' salary is guaranteed" thing.

i could do with out leftwich.i don't think he could work in schotty's offense.he has no touch just a fastball and it takes like 5 seconds to get out.other than that sounds great make it happen
