First Round -Percy Harvin, WR, Florida: He is a big time playmaker and can be coles replacement. He would also be a great compliment to cotchery as he could be the lightning to cotch's thunder. yea, whatever that means but if Mauluaga was there, he would be the pick. Second Round -Rashad Johnson, S, Alabama:A centerfielder type like him should enjoy sitting back as Rhodes does damage everywhere else. Now with Ryan, I think he?s going to start looking for passionate leaders, so I could really see this happening. Third Round -Mike Mickens, CB, Cincinnati: A reliable corner who started four years for the bear cats. He can really be a reliable number 2 corner for us which allows dwight to be our nickel. Fourth Round -William Beatty, RT, Connecticut: I play college football with his brother Charles and I met him once or twice. He is really underrated and he can be the replacement for Woody in a year or two. He's my boy lol Fifth Round -Josh Mauga, ILB, Nevada: A tough linebacker with good speed and size. He is good depth and a possible replacement for Barton. Sixth Round -Quinn Johnson, FB, LSU:Hopefully, Richardson gets re-signed but if he doesn't. Johnson can be a good replacement as he is a dominating lead blocker with top intanglibles. He is very hard to tackle with the ball in his hands too. Only problem is, he isn't a threat as a reciever and slow. Seventh Round -Ra'Shon Harris, DE, Oregon:This guy is 300lbs and 6'5. He is depth and who knows, we might get lucky.
steve smith is 5'8...santana moss is 5'8.... who needs height when u can make separation.....i would like a tall reciever too but percy harvin is too good to pass up at that point in the draft
I like most of the positions you chose... I think they'll be better players for us in round two than Rashad Johnson.
i just felt we needed a saftey that gives rhodes freedom.....johnson is also as smart as they come.....he will help out this team from his rookie year....he's not the greatest athlete but hes a football player
I prefer Heyward Bey because he is taller and has less of an injury concern. There might be better selections for safety in round 2, but Johnson is good. I love Mickens. Also I cant believe how little people have talked about Quinn Johnson he was a great FB at LSU
Much less another Florida Gator WR, but this one is actually injury prone unlike the past ones. :metal: haha.
you mean Jeremy Maclin? yes id take Maclin over Harvin also. UF Recievers are not to be trusted, and the system UF runs is one of the biggest gimicks in football. as successfull as it is.
yeah but hes like so good for his position I mean freakin long snapers get more love than fullbacks do
i like maclin too but i feel hes too much of a project.....i would take heyward-bey but im thinkin that this is how the draft will fall, we need someone who's explosive..... UF may be a system like the patriots but watchin harvin, hes making people miss, hes one of the fastest players....everyone is obsessed with clowney because he did good against backups in the cleveland.....if he was that good, he would have been played this year no matter how retarded the CS is.... height isnt that great of a factor, route running, hustle, speed are what seperate great recivers from good ones.....cotchery is awesome but hes a too slow to play #1......coles losted a step....chansi looks awesome at slot.... steve smith, santana moss, desean jackson-all small but are some of the biggest playmakers....steve smith is a top 3 reciver in the nfl.....hes 5'8 its not height we lack....its speed.....it would be great to draft a WR like moss but i dont see any of that caliber....one reason farve fell off so much was our recievers couldnt get open....check the dolphins game..... we wont succeed if we dont have fast recivers
Larry Fitzgerald and Jerry Rice both ran in the 4.6 range I'll take football players over athletes. Harvin won't be anything more than a kick returner in the NFL, he played in the gimmicky-est offense in college football.
harvin hasn't run a route in his career.thats the knock on him going in ti the draft noone knows how his route running is.i'd rather take a l.b. in the 1st.maybe cushing
