Rank your favorite players for the Jets first round pick. Don't worry if they will be there or not - just choose who you'd select if he were available. You never know when a sure thing will drop way down (Brady Quinn, Aaron Rodgers, etc).

My list would look fairly similar, but I would have Vontae Davis there and probably not James Laurinitis.

I would have to say: Alphonso Smith, Matthew Stafford, Malcolm Jenkins, Rey Maualuga, Kenny Britt, D.J. Moore, Hakeem Nicks, and Knowshon Moreno are the guys I would feel comfortable with the JETS drafting in the first round. And can I be the first and only person to say that in the later rounds the JETS will solidify their special teams by drafting punter Kevin Huber from Cincinnati.

Richie....you're not the first here to want Huber.......myself and others have expressed interest. Good call on Huber, IMO, he's the best punter in the country.

Well in a perfect world my choices would be: Michael Crabtree, Chris Wells, knowshon morreno (NJ boy) Michael Oher, Ray Mauluga, Malcolm Jenkins, William Moore

for where the Jets pick : Vonte Davis, William Moore, D.J Moore, Derrius Heward Bey, Knoshown Morreno, Chris Wells

none of these lists are in any order

James Laurinaitis (ILB from Ohio state) or Sanchez who I believe will fall that far.

He could probably play 3-4 ILB but he would be best as a 4-3 OLB, It doesn't matter though because the Jets won't be drafting him

I'm a little surprised only 1 person mentioned Brian Cushing

I like Cushing, but he's a reach at #17. I projected players that should be available at #17 and aren't a bad value.

IMO, not as much as Cushing. I have Sintim rated about #22 on my draftboard. I'm very high on Sintim and expect him to be a dynamic NFL player. Cushing is a boardline very late , early Rd 2 player.
