i think the new stadium will have an arobics and pilates room for the flight attendants. lets hope so.....
But they will be lucky. They won't have to pay for the stadium and they'll get to stay home and watch the games on HDTV. Who cares if 80% of the stadium is empty?
HA!! I will drink my beer, I won't pee next to my car but can I ask you where you park yours? PSL or no PSL, I'll go and have a good time. I sure hope they install more bathrooms though. That is the reason so many are late to get to their seats after halftime. They are anxiously waiting to go.
They should like double the amount of bathrooms in the place. I remember being at the SF Giants' stadium back when it was new. I know that's baseball and is, therefore, an apples to oranges comparison, but I remember going to their bathrooms. I would have been honored to take a dump in that place, and regretted that I didn't have to. The current Jets/Giants stadium, on the other hand....I took a dump there once and was mortified. I think if I ever have to go again when at the stadium I'll just leave. Just sayin'.
Well if they decide not to take the PSLs then U R correct. Actually beyond the 27,000 fans that will fit in the UD all others that want season tix are unlucky since they have to secure a PSL which as you know at the present time you do not need to have season tix. Actually even the UD holders will be upporting the stadium with there admission & parking fees
A funny thing happend on the way to Corporatizing football. The giant monolothic corporations that the NFL has catered to aren't doing well and may not be needed in the new economy? You can check out my wifes tits while I'm relieving myself on your car.
Yes but no matter how you wish to rationalize it when U pay for the game U R supporting the NYJs & the 1/2 of the stadium they own.
My point is they didn't have the option of staying in the current Giants Stadium because the Giants decided to knock it down. So you can't blame the Jets for not staying there because that wasn't a choice. At least now they will have equal say, unless you think in this economy it makes sense to build two state-of-the-art football stadiums 5 miles apart, this makes the most sense, given their options, which weren't many.
Sure, because they would be the guys getting paid, not paying the bills. At least until financing runs out and nobody gets paid. They should consider themselves lucky this got as far as it did before all the banks fell apart--the Devils, Mets and Yankees, too.
Depending on when they got started, it would possibly be about where the new Meadowlands stadium is--far enough along that it has to be finished. The thing is, NY politicians can never get out of their own way long enough to get anything done. The Nets' project in Brooklyn is never going to happen now, the same spot and same crap that drove Walter O'Malley to LA 50 years ago. Some things stand up over the test of time, crooked NY politicians being one of them.
