wow.... The Eagles needed to make a play on 3rd down and force a FG. You can't allow a TD on a dumpoff to Hightower. He barely made it in, and several defenders should have been able to keep him from breaking the plane by taking better angles and making smarter tackles.
Their running game hasn't been that poor. I can see why they would want to keep throwing the ball, but the Eagles clamped down on Larry Fitz. Not that it really mattered since the guy isn't human and is still making plays, but still. I get why they would've complained during the 2 previous drives, but, not when they're moving the ball. And Boldin doesn't look like he's 100%.
