First to try and compare a QB to a DE/olb . Its silly. Should take a young QB more time than an Olb/De to make transition to the NFL. But I will stoop to your level. Combine what Russell did in toughest conference in America, with how he played down the stretch(last eight games) in the NFL. Again Normal maturation process of a young QB. Now lets try and compare Gholston. Gholston played in Big Ten(nice conference but its not SEC) . Lets see he had ZERO SACKS and 7 tackles on special teams in his NFl debut. NOw if i wanted to be a smart arse I would say Let compare what Trevor Scott did (a sixth rounder) to what gholston(6th pick of draft). But Im better than that. Your point was what again.
