You wish . yea I rather have K Clemens. Stratch that already. Brett ratcliffe is the new wonder boy. Please If that your supposed answer at QB ,you better hope the well past his prime brett favre comes back. Or it could be a very ugly year in 2009. Not to mention with PSl looming in 2010 - Alot of empty seasts and blackouts.

Yea what do you know about football. Syracuse. LMAO Do they still play football there anymore. Again Russell put up his numbers playing in the toughest conference in america(SEC) in college. Look up the numbers in 2008, they don't lie from first and last eight games. Hey I just hope russell dosen't get a big head playing the Jets again next year. Everyone looks great. You will get another shot at Russell. Don't be envious of the Raiders. Hey your front office by going with the unproven Ryan. Want to try and build a dominating defense. Because you have nothing to look forward on offense. The crap I left in the toilet, looked more impressive than what you have at Qb.

Yes, and Vernon Gholston set sack records at OSU. Your point?

First to try and compare a QB to a DE/olb . Its silly. Should take a young QB more time than an Olb/De to make transition to the NFL. But I will stoop to your level.
Combine what Russell did in toughest conference in America, with how he played down the stretch(last eight games) in the NFL. Again Normal maturation process of a young QB. Now lets try and compare Gholston. Gholston played in Big Ten(nice conference but its not SEC) . Lets see he had ZERO SACKS and 7 tackles on special teams in his NFl debut. NOw if i wanted to be a smart arse I would say Let compare what Trevor Scott did (a sixth rounder) to what gholston(6th pick of draft). But Im better than that.

    Your point was what again.

It's pointless to bring college performance into the argument. The fact that you have to shows how little Russell has accomplished in the pros to this point.

Again I posted Russell stats in another post from his first eight games to his last eight games. Find them. (do a search on this site its not too hard) They show him making signiuficant progress. Again once Raiders get another tackle to go with mario Henderson. You will see russell start putting up some very big numbers. Raiders took their lumps going with an imnexperience QB Russell. They are better off for it. You on the other hand went for it with the glory with a hasbeen. Your no closer and lost a year in possible trying to develope someone.

    Jeaux strikes again. Whoa.

So the thread starts as CB thread - and Jeaux hijacks it, turning it into JaMarcus Russell thread. Spectacular.

I did nothing of the sort. All I did was point out that three raider cbs make the top 11. Jet posters went off topic blame them. All you need to do is reexamine the thread.

Interesting read...2 SEC teams a head of them....Never attack my beloved Orange. Especially if LSU is your strongest defense.

Wow your really trying to live in the past. Syracuse hasn't been relative in football longer than the Raiders have been in profootball. How many Syracuse players were taken in last year draft. EMBARRASSMENT. Stop before I really start to make you cry.

What was the running back . didn't he rape a woman at a party and nOthing happened to him as the Alumni paid off the girl. ReaL great school and one someone should seriously think about sending their daughter. Not to mention this guy had a 1.0 grade point average in high school and somehow he staying eligible. Want me to go on.

Oh. Got it. Now. How many current NFL players, from Syracuse, have been to the pro bowl?

How many Oakland Rasiders are in the hall of fame. How many more should be getting in next couple of years. Why don't you answer the question about the running back that staying at Syracuse after raping a girl at a Party. your alumni paid off the girls and her family. That same Rb is dumb as a rock . He had a 1.0 grade point average in high school and yet they gave him a full ride. Yet you wonder why Syracuse didn't have one player drafted last year. Coincidence. I think not.

Did you know Syracuse has as many Hall of Famers as Florida, LSU and Tennessee....COMBINED. But I know, I'm living in the past.

You probably don't, but I do. If You would know what I know, you would be ashamed to be associated with that university. There is alot more problems at syracuse than just not getting anyone drafted in last year draft.
