Good utility guy. comfortable in that role. I just hope he doesn't wind up being our starting second baseman as the season wears on.
I agree with all the assessments being said. Cora's a solid bench guy but the Mets need someone who will be the starting second basemen all season long. The past 3 years the position has been by committee.
BOING!!!!!!! i just got a hard on but i think for this team to be successful castillo needs to be our starter and produce.that will make our bench stronger with murphy on it. starters santana pelfrey ollie maine pedro bullpen krod putz sanchez feliciano redding green stokes lineup ss reyes cf beltran 3rd wright 1st delgado lf manny rf church c castro 2nd castillo bench of tatis of reed of/if murphy ss/2nd cora c schneider
also in the minors for a little seasoning lhp niese rhp parnell rhp muniz c cancel of pagan of evans of martinez
I think they need both sheets and ollie. Sheets because of health is a wild card and they have Neise or Redding as insurance. Between the unknowns of Maine (health), Ollie (head), Sheets (health)and to a lessor degree Santana (just had knee surgury) you will have a year of solid pitching. If they are able to stay healthy you could have a great staff! Santana Pelfrey Sheets Maine Perez Neise Redding
Looks like they smacked the left field side back all the way to the Gate A ticket booths. Section 32-48 are gone. edit: yup
It was in response to something 17a_tailgater wrote. Baseball is supposed to chop down wood like a beaver. Haven't you seen Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery?
This means that a famous spot is now gone - the only place in the upper deck ever hit in fair territory (Section 48, Tommie Agee, April 10, 1969).
They cut it out of the bleachers before demolition, which was nice. They probably give it to some rich dude who works with the companies, which isn't.
