TO is a great wr...but has to be controlled
of the rookie HC's we are looking at...i don't know if any could handle him the way Parcells can
with a more stable situation...i would take him in a heartbeart
he may be 35, but the way he trains and tries to rebound from failure is very admirable...he started his career with jerry rice...he may not have gotten the media part right, but he got the training part down...he can be a good wr for several more years
i just don't think there is any chance it is with us

The next thread is the O.J. thread.

Should the Jets pick up O.J.?

It depends, we are OK at RB, but maybe we could give him enough carries to spell Leon until he is ready to take on 20+ snaps a game.

You think we have enough cap space to sign him?

Do you know what T.O. stands for?

Yep. It means Turn Over. Not a good thing.

I refuse to vote on this retardation. I saw this immediately on ESPN when I came online I knew this would be the first thread I saw. Big Surprise. Fuck no!

Thanks for the contribution dude, that was really insightful.

There's a lot of bs that comes with a player like Owens, so much so that it totally detracts from how great of a player he is. Isn't he #2 on the career TD receptions list?

That being said, no way do I want him on the Jets

Please no.... He's a great receiver but I have no desire to see how dysfunctional our locker room can become with him in the New York spotlight. Maybe no one will sign him and every other selfish player in proffesional sports will realize where acting like a spoiled baby will get you!

no problem, and thanks for taking the time to say what 99% of the intellect of NY would say. This thread should have been closed after the OP.

I'd take him over Coles. Same old malcontent, pretty much the same salary, alot more production from TO. Coles for TO, Dallas would probably do it if they're actually looking to get rid of TO.

But no, I don't want his attitude in the NYJ locker room.

This is almost as silly as your Herm thread. Will we be doing one of these for every player and coach in the league this year?

Wait, you think Herm will keep TO from being a jackass! Never Mind. This is way worse then your herm thread. This is really the worst idea even. Even Worse then drinking dranio with a radiator fluid chaser. Just awful.

so, we complain that we need a big time receiver and one comes out he gets shot down...

    I'm confused with the board.

Yes, I want him. Maybe a two year deal as he is getting older but he would be a great asset.

You may want him. Go buy a team and sign him because there isn't another team in the league who would saddle a first time, first year HC with a cancer like that. I'll bet you think the Jets should sign Pacman too, right?

Without Manny the Red Sox would have never won a World Series and the Dodgers would have never sniffed the playoffs. Owens ain't Manny by a long shot.

The Sox could afford to unload Manny because Manny got them the rings. Owens ain't getting anyone the rings.
