He is 74. he has been out of football since he screwed up the Cards as GM in 95

 

when mangini utilized Atlas correctly, they went 10-6 and went to the playoffs.

Thats when everyone loved Mangini and gave him a nickname with "genius" in it.

Rex has the same mentality his father did/does. Kill kill kill - i've been preaching that all during the season. Maybe this dysfunctional loser franchise will understand thats how football is played and hire the anti-sutton.

And maybe give a coach 6 years to fix a team like they did back in the early days of football. Ryan doesn't even need that many with the pro bowlers and all pros on this team.

 

Bring back the 4-6.

 

Yeah, that was one hell of a defense. Eventually teams caught on to it but it took them a long time to do it. I still think the '85 Bears were the best team ever.

 

i'd be willing to give up a game or two and go 11-5 with a kill-kill-kill team that's a blast to watch rather than root for a pansy ass finesse team that goes 12-4.

my favorite days as a jet fan were the sack exchange days. remember when they rang the bell on wall street? dam. them were some good years. didn't win every game, but with sallam gastinau klecko and lyons ringing your bell every week, at least we had respect

 

74 isn't all that old. How old was Hallas when he retired? or Marv Levy..probably others I am forgetting too and they were head coaches.

 

Yea, Levy has did a bang up job as the Bills GM..

He retired at age 72 as a HC.
He is now 83.

Hallas was 72 when he retired.

 

So, as an assistant in charge of setting bounties 74 wouldn't be that bad at all.
