Great coach classy guy, hope he enjoys retirement...Now the Indy colts have probably become the most desirable coaching job available

Dungy has been a great coach and a class act for a long time, he deserves a break. The man's regular season record is incredible. Personally, I think the guy is kind of a nutter, but I definitely respect him and all of his achievements.

It will be strange looking at the Colts sideline on sundays next year and not see Dungy at the helm. Good luck in whatever you do Tony. He was a great coach and an even better man. Hope to see you back in the league someday.

He also turns the Pago Pago chieftain loose as he gets the Pago Pago League to change the rules for the Pago Pago QB if he loses the coconut or if he's in a "make-believe grasp" or if someone comes within 3 feet of his face and breathes on him. It's only fair.

This is surely the end of an era. A great, great coach, and by all accounts a great man as well. At times the "Dungy is a saint" angle can be sanctimonious and overplayed to the point of absurdity, but that's probably more a product of the media than the man himself.

At this point it looks like the Colts are in a steady decline. Manning is going to be 33, Harrison has been a corpse for years, Freeney is wildly overrated and they all take up way too much cap room. They have maybe one more season before their window shuts for a while.

Jim Caldwell is the new Colts head coach and we knew this was going to happen for the past couple years.

I agree about Dungey, but remember Caldwell has already taken the job.

I would not be so quick to dismiss them, they are still one of the youngest teams in the league, especially on D. Gonzalez will replace Harrison, if he hasn't already, Clark and Wayne and Addai have alot of good years left.
