Dan Quinn has reached an agreement with the Seattle Seahawks to be their next defensive line and assistant head coach. Quinn was the Jets' defensive line coach but Jim Mora Jr. knew Quinn from their time in San Francisco.

Guess the Seattle game where our d-line got owned by backups really impressed them.

Immaterial, i'm sure the eventual coach hires and his coordinator would want their own defensive assistants

I thought Bryan Cox was the DL coach. Am I wrong?

He was the assistant DL coach. Hopefully they promote him to DL coach with Quinn's departure.

We couldn't pay Seattle enuf to take BS-2 off our hands. Probably couldn't pay them to take BS-1 either..

I guess he wasn't under contract or they let him go. Either way they must not have wanted him.

Rich Cimini reports that Jets' defensive line coach Dan Quinn is gone to fill the same position for the Seahawks. His contract was up, so there wasn't much the team could do to stop him from leaving to join his former co-worker Jim Mora Jr in Seattle.

In other news I'm 0-3 for picking the playoffs this week so far. At least San Diego is in the game early, 7-7 in a game that the Chargers have outplayed the Steelers so far.

One and done for the Giants. Very disappointing game for them, especially Eli Manning. Check out my article on his failure on Bleacher Report.

How crazy would it be for the 9-7 Cardinals and the 8-8 Chargers to both host playoff games in the NFC and AFC championship games? Can all four road teams really win? And can the representatives from the two most maligned divisions in football actually meet in the Super Bowl?

Yeah, I remember reading some positive press on Quinn when we brought him in a couple years back.

I fully expect a box of Cracker-Jacks to be delivered to JETS headquaters in the morning as compensation.
