Some of us are annoyed that Woody decided to take vacation the same week he fired the HC of his near-billion dollar franchise.
Come on, man. You know he did not say that at all. You're putting words in his mouth, and this is just a rehash of the interview he did on WFAN.
Come on, dude, we had like 900 threads about Ty Law in 2005. A few more Cowher threads won't hurt you.
Haha exactly. I take back my original statement that Tanny should be fired, and resume my "Jets must move to Ohio" stance. That's the perfect state for a franchise with a history of being a stepping stone. The Dayton Jets. Gang Rust. P.S. Sorry for the extra thread on it, just didn't see it on the main page.
"I will always believe that if Palmer played all 4 quarters, the Steelers would've never had a ring." I will always believe that if the officials did not intentionally screw over the Seahawks, the Steelers and Cowher would have never had a ring. Cowher is a choke artist - the only way he won was by an obvious gift from the NFL. As for O'Donnell obviousy being on the take against Dallas in the Super Bowl, Cowher would have found a way to lose that game, regardless of how OD would have played. Hell, he was lucky as shit to beat a mediocre Herm coached Jets team in the playoffs in his own yard. Woody did the correct thing by showing no interest in this guy. He obviously learned his lesson by being scammed for big money by that fraud Favre. He wasn't about to get scammed by another fraud, who is only looking for a big contract as a retirement nugget.
If you can't tell by my sig, I'm sorry that I ever mentioned the possibility of him coming to NY in any capacity. Maybe I'm giving myself too much credit here, but I feel partly responsible for starting this avalanche of bull. Why won't it stop?
Here is a BIHW post from 2006. It would appear from that post that his foresight is far greater then most on this board http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?p=246228#post246228
All of these comments about Cowher remind me of the jealous boyfriend syndrome. Do you really think that he wouldn't be better than Schittenheimer or Spagnuolo? Maybe even Ryan. Now if you were all promoting Shanahan or any other coach who has actually coached and actually won something it would be one thing but to sit here and say he is overrated and your only alternatives are people who have never coached a game in their lives is ridiculous.
Retard? He posted that in 2006 & most likely was berated by the majority on this board at that time & here it 3 years later & his post fits perfectly our situation now does it not?
