who is going to be the new HC no one knows ----is he the right choice???? whoever is picked 70% of the readers on this forum are going to say "WTF" the most important question is who is going to throw the ball the jets aren't half bad with 11 guys including alternates being selected to the pro-bowl----it was actually 12 but i discounted farve as he did not belong last year at this time the qb issue was #1----we all read that chads arm was weak ---couldnt make the throws with any much needed velocity ----shows you what we all know so for 2009 i expect the jets to make a trade for a qb---who is out there?????? brett ratliff did well against 2nd and 3rd stringers last summer the new guy has just about a month to decide if ratliff is ready as free agency and the start of the trading begins end of next month the info for the psls is coming at end of january--------woody has lots of 'splaning to do if he wants to sell anything
I think it should be a battle between Clemens and Ratliff. But there aren't a lot of quarterbacks available of any merit. Derek Anderson? He was decent for a year, but not necessarily a long term answer. Michael Vick gets out of jail soon (I am kidding!) We could hand the Patriots two # 1 draft picks for Matt Cassel. Or, we can draft the next, greatest future QB in April.
We need a lot more then that. Most of our CS is pathetic (insert OC, and DC names here). We need a QB, DB, Big WR, And a pass rushing DE. Ouch!
gee, lets make yet another thread on these two subjects, making them harder to discuss in two ways simultaneously: 1) by splitting discussion of a topic across multiple threads, compounded by 2) by mixing discussion of two different topics.
