Greg Hardy, Brandon Spikes, and CJ Spiller are likely to declare soon according to Draft Daddy. I hope the only way Hardy isn't on this team if he falls to us is that his toe is a major problem long term. I really want more pass rushers.

Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford will reportedly enter the 2009 NFL Draft barring a knee injury in Thursday night's BCS title game against Florida. By letting this get out, Bradford is putting even more pressure on himself heading into Thursday. Bradford (6'4/218) is only a third-year sophomore and other than Ben Roethlisberger -- a fourth-year junior early entrant -- there is no history of success among underclassmen QBs. It's a risk, but Bradford already won the Heisman and if he can put on a show tomorrow night he'll be the favorite to go No. 1 in April. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, citing unnamed sources, reports that McCoy made the decision after consulting with former Pitt players, including Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald. McCoy skipped a Thursday team meeting, which fueled speculation that he will be leaving. In December, McCoy said that he would be staying in school.

MADISON — After gathering information regarding their potential NFL Draft status, two Wisconsin football players have made decisions regarding their futures. Junior running back P.J. Hill will forgo his senior season at UW and enter the NFL Draft, while junior tight end Garrett Graham will return to Wisconsin for his senior season. “We are excited for both players,” Wisconsin head coach Bret Bielema said. “I know that Garrett is looking forward to completing his time at UW and improving for his senior season and we are thrilled to have him returning. I wish P.J. the best in the future and want to thank him for all his hard work during his time as a Badger. He’s a great running back and I think his numbers speak for themselves.” Hill ends his UW career in third place on Wisconsin’s all-time rushing list with 3,996 yards. Along with Ron Dayne, he is one of only two players in Badger history to run for at least 1,000 yards in each of their first three seasons. Hill is also tied for second on UW’s all-time touchdowns list with 44 and ranks third in school history with 20 career 100-yard performances. In 2008, Hill earned honorable mention All-Big Ten honors and rushed for 1,161 yards and 13 touchdowns. “I just feel the time is right for me to take the next step in my career,” Hill said. “I would like to thank my teammates, coaches and the Badger fans for the great experience I had during my time at UW.” Graham led the Badgers in receptions (40), receiving yards (540) and receiving touchdowns (5) in 2008 despite missing two full games due to injury. He was named first-team All-Big Ten by the media and was a second-team selection by the coaches. Over the last two seasons, Graham has 70 catches for 868 yards and nine touchdowns.

Austin Collie, the colorful junior from Eldorado Hills, Calif., and owner of every significant BYU receiving record, is turning pro. In a text message sent late Thursday night, Collie noted, "It is not a sure thing yet. I won't know until tomorrow morning." However, several sources told The Salt Lake Tribune that Collie made the decision Thursday to forgo his senior season and enter April's NFL Draft. BYU sent out a news release at 10 p.m. Thursday night saying Collie will address the media in Provo on Friday morning at 10 a.m. "regarding his football plans for next season." Collie is older than most juniors because he served a two-year LDS Church mission after his freshman year at BYU. Collie is BYU's career leader in receiving yards (3,255) and receptions (215). He also owns school records for single-season receiving touchdowns (15), career receiving touchdowns (30), and single-season receiving yards (1,538). Coffee announced his decision Friday, following star offensive lineman Andre Smith into professional football. "I really enjoyed my time at the University of Alabama, but I think it is the right time for me to move on to the NFL," Coffee said in a statement. "Alabama has been a tremendous place for me to develop as both a football player and a person. I couldn't have asked for a better group of coaches." The Fort Walton Beach, Fla., native told the Mobile Press-Register that the NFL draft advisory board projected him as a mid-round pick. Coffee ranked second in the SEC with 1,383 yards this season after starting only three games in his first two seasons. He gained 218 yards against Kentucky. Coffee's 117-yard average in league games was tops among SEC backs. Mark Ingram will be the most likely successor in the backfield. He was the league's No. 6 rusher with 681 yards and a team-best 11 touchdowns.

The 6-2, 210-pound Smith joins sophomore DE Paul Kruger in the upcoming draft class. Smith tied for the Mountain West Conference lead with five interceptions this fall and projects to go in the second or third round this coming April if as expected he is able to run in the sub-4.4 range at the combine.

Jerry is a 6-foot-5, 350-pound tackle. Nate Davis too Ball State quarterback Nate Davis has decided to enter the NFL draft, a person close to Davis said Tuesday. Davis, 6-foot-2, 217 pounds, passed for 3,591 yards with 26 touchdowns and eight interceptions this season. Davis completed 64.3 percent of his passes this season as the Cardinals won their first 12 games before losing the MAC championship game to Buffalo and the GMAC Bowl to Tulsa. Davis, a Manning Award finalist, was the MAC offensive player of the year. He ranked second in the league with 265.5 passing yards per game but struggled in his last two games.
