he wanted a sitdown. other owners have drove, not flown, drove to meet coaches of lesser stature or have spent multiple days in one city during the holiday season to interview more than one coordinator, not a great coach like Cowher. Its about respect, not ego.

Can you imagine if he were the general manager and not the owner, and he used the excuse that he was "out of the country and unavailable"?! That's obscene! This is the surest sign that Woody treats this team as a nice little hobby and not as a true business. The real point is not that Cowher wouldn't wait for Woody, the bigger point is why the hell would Woody not cut his vacation short to meet with Cowher. Getting a tan is obviously more important than securing the future of your investment.
