What a great game. My pace, don't have to rush through things. Great graphics and story. I am getting addicted to it.

No not yet. Don't you have to have that "Friend of Animals" rating or something like that?

Yes, but right now only rank 1.

    Rank1= They don't attack

    Rank2:They fight with you.

Just started on the Game of the Year Addition after getting a new X-Box -- Old one Red-Ringed.

Love this game. I love the freedom.

I'm a stealthy Sniper! Got to get me my Chinese Stealth Suit. Woot!

New Vegas is an entirely new Sequel.

I firmly believe that it will be The Tits, Nipples, as well as Aureoles.

When it comes out in October, my social life will be gone.

One of the best RPGs ever made by Bethesda. The charm and setting of it is just perfect, 50s music in the apocalypse...BRILLIANT!

The second one was great despite the age and lack of direction. This one looks like it's going to be back to roots with storyline and all.

New Vegas is actually not a sequel but stand alone in it's own right. There is a Fallout 4 in the works.

    I did not know that.

At any rate, I'm sure it's going to rock.

I also heard rumors of of a Fallout MMORPG -- but there's been some legal issues holding up the development. If it were to happen, I seriously think that would be it for me -- no future, no friends, no life. The ACTUAL apocalypse might happen, and I wouldn't know it, because I would be too busy playing a post apocalyptic online video game.

Loved it but once I finished it I was bored with it... Oblivion is much much better IMO.

Fallout 1 and 2 were the fucking shit. grid based strategy combat for older fans of the series.

but the options, diaglogue and everything were far more adult.

    Fallout 3 was good though.

Fallout New Vegas is actually not a fully Betheseda project. theyre working with another developer that has a few members from the ORIGINAL Fallout franchise team.

anyways for those of you looking to see the roots of the game should check out part 1 or 2.

none of the games have ever been sequels. just a general culture (ie. Stimpaks, Jet, etc etc.)

but again parts 1 and 2 are far more difficult. and more involving IMO. thats just me though.

anyone play the expansions for part 3?

It's the same engine, so it will play the same. But a new chapter so to speak in a different part of the country.

I heard about that MMORPG, don't think I would have time for something like that, as it was, I spent months on Fallout 3, and still never finished discovering everything, though I did finish the game mission wise.

Obsidian is the developer of New Vegas.

Yeah I played them all, Point Lookout and Broken Steel are by far the best add-ons to the game

The Pitt is pretty fun and time consuming, Mothership Zeta was had nothing to do with the story but you get a cool arsenal of weapons

Operation Anchorage is fucking good too, you take control of an army against the Chinese, awesome DLC I have no say, you get good weapons with that expansion

I beat the game, and this topic is making me want to go through and play it over again argh haha, I can't wait for New Vegas

I am a year late, but I just played the add ons, except Broken Steel. The Pitt was pretty good.

Better late then never, the DLCs are a fun experience

The Pitt is wild, did you find all the Ignots?

Honestly after playing Fallout New Vegas, FO3 is so much better, I can't just get into NV it bores me, soon I'll return to FO3 and start a new one over again
