Any chance he falls to our 1st round pick? We'll probably draft a S or LB, but another Revis would really help the pass defense.
He could fall , but he is probably gonna have a great combine but right now Jenkins is clearly ahead of him even though Davis is more talented. DJ Moore and Trevard Lindley are right up there with him though with Jenkins being a step ahead of them.
Love Vontae Davis. The kid is lightning, after the top corners run he'll be on top of the board, whether or not he is a better cover man than Jenkins.
Agreed. I see alot of people ranking Jenkins over him, but I think Davis is the Revis of this draft. He's going to be a riser this offseason, and I think he'll end up in the first half of the first round.
I think Davis is overrated, he'll have a good combine and will probably be a first rounder but he hasn't had a very good season
You're spot on! Davis' had a disappointing season, but he has great skills and looks like an NFL corner. Last year Davis was probably the best corner in College football. I still rank Jenkins higher than Davis, but not by much. I expect Jenkins to be a top ten pick and Vontae a top 15 pick.
Underclassmen Declaration thread This is to help keep track of the guys saying they're staying or going and discuss the decisions. If you see a kid leaving, just add onto the list. Thanks for doing this! Man, the RB class this year is going to really deep. We could probably get a possible eventual replacement to Jones in the mid-rounds.
Best part is that all three of those RBs are New Jersey natives, as is Kenny. Nice to see the jersey guys standing up. As for Mason, according to that article he transferred a couple times, and is already graduated. I don't remember him at all from Pitt to be honest.
Donald Brown is the real deal. He's proven this season at UCONN that he can carry a team on his shoulders...and he's got a solid build and breakaway speed. Depending on who enters the draft, Brown could end up being a late first rounder -- but he'll most likely go in round two.
If you could can you try to Put there statures up there so we could get an idea of what size they are
I was watching this kid yesterday in the game against Buffalo, granted it's buffalo, but the kid ran wild and after like 23 carries was averaging 10.4 yards per carry. It was freaking awesome watching this kid just take over a game. If there is a runningback later in the draft I want, this is the kid. Also, when will we start hearing from the big name QB's? Bradford, Tebow, Sanchez, Mccoy, Nate Davis, Stafford? when will we start to hear when they are coming or going?
Stafford and Sanchez somewhat soon I imagine, but Bradford, Tebow, and McCoy still haven't played their bowl games yet. It has to be announced by the 15th, so it's not like it'll be all that much longer even if they do it last minute.
He ended up there after he transfered from Pitt to Deleware, but was not allow to play football. I'm guessing that he got good feed back from at least one of the teams that had been scouting him.
Actually had a thread like this already, thought it would get stickied like the one i did last year but i guess no mod saw its cool though someone can merge it or watever http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=40202
My bad Nessy, I even posted in it. Mods should merge it when they see it (which they won't cause no one comes in this forum).
