Tebow is faster than Brees, taller than Brees and has an arm that is equal to Brees.

Tebow will not be drafted in the top 15 picks and maybe, just maybe not in the first round but with such a HUGE drop off of college QB talent after him can we afford to pass of him.

The last two years we wants a college QB but felt it would be a reach to get our guy at our pick so we tried two years in a row to get them later in the first round and missed out on both Cutler and Flacco.

I would rather us draft him than get a stop gap veteran like Garcia or Collins.

lol, yeah I'm with DWare on this, that's a bad comparison. Brees isn't good because of speed, height, or arm strength. He's good because he's smart and accurate.

Brees is good on the run and always has his heads on a swivle. Also, he is exciteing to watch. That is the same thing they say about Tebow.

Bress is accurate and so has Tebow been in college.

Brees should have been a 1st round pick but was passed on until the 2nd. Tebow should be a 1st round but most drafts have him still available until early to mid through the 2nd.

Both were said not to be good NFL QBs before draft day. They were great college guys but not NFL calliber. Why do you think Brees lasted until the 2nd?

Main reason I like Tebow is because Mel Kiper doesn't like him as an NFL QB. By the way he also dogged Brees too.

I'm sorry, but your connection to Tebow and Brees makes no sense at all. Tebow would be good for the Wild Cat offense, but otherwise he's probably not a good NFL QB.

Tebow will be a good NFL QB because the guy is smart, he makes good choices, his arm is not great but it is not nearly as bad as people make out, he has a ugly release, it doesn't look pretty but it gets to where it needs to go, 2 INT this season, he makes excellent decisions, and is a duel threat, some team is going to pick him up as a QB and they are going to be set for years and have one of the most dangerous players in the game, although people don't tend to agree with me, in years to come i feel pretty damm confident that I'm going to be able to use the phrase 'I told you so' when it comes to Tim Tebow.

I'd be shocked if anyone took him in the 2nd let alone the top15 or the 1st. His value is in the 4th-5th range. You are getting a half-assed NFL player who you don't even know what position he can play at the pro level, if any. That's not a player you use a day 1 pick on.

IDK if I would compare Tebow to Brees but I think Tebow is going to be a good NFL player.

He gets a bad rap for being a QB that can run and playing in Urban Meyers spread offense. He doesnt have a strong arm but he is a very accurate passer and doesnt turn the ball over.

Amen lol not many of us out there that believe he will be a good NFL QB. You are right on about protecting the ball, the guy has had 453 rushing attempts in college and has not once fumbled the ball, thrown less than 10 INT in his entire college career, 2 and a bit years as a starter. The guy is not stupid he will adapt to the pro offense and which ever team decides to take a chance on him will be a lucky one.

Brees was a phenomenal passing QB who wasn't treated as a top prospect because of his height. TT doesn't really play in a normal passing offense. And Brees was a great passer right from the start in college.

tim tebow will end up being a very good nfl player. the kids drive, determination and work ethic will make sure of it, on top of that he is an amazing athlete... this is exactly the type of guy any organization would want.

now i CANT STAND HIM, because he plays for florida. but i have to call a spade a spade.

Brees was a true QB despite being a little short for the position but Tebow doesn't really play in a Pro Set offense and would probally be better fit as a Wide Receiver.

Just because he doesn't run a pro offense doesn't mean that he can't run a pro offense, passing on him for doing what he has been asked to do at Florida would be foolish in my opinion, he has drive/determination much like alleycat was saying in his above post, and i can't stress this enough, he is a smart guy, looks after the ball, and makes good decisions. Would also like to say that I'm not a gators fan by any stretch of the imagination.

brees had alot of question coming out because of joe tillers querky offense, they thought he was a system qb. and to a certain extent he was but he had a ton of skill to go with it. unlike so many of the system qbs aka andre ware that have sucked in the nfl.

After much thought you could be a moron. Comparing tebow to brees? How do you get that comparison at all. There is no way tebow will ever be half the passer brees is. Tebow is strictly a one read qb that will never make it as a qb in the nfl
