maybe marty for 2 years training his son to be a headcoach and then handing it off to him just a thought
i definitely dont want to see shotty as the HC, i am not going to go crazy because mort is a tool. we will see what happens but i cannot say i will be happy with shotty jr. the old man i wouldnt really have a major issue with. his teams win time and time again. he just hasnt had the ultimate success of the superbowl yet.
If Jr gets the head job it wont be long before Sr joins him in some capacity on this team. Alot to be desired if you ask me. Time will tell and in the meantime we have annoited and fired 10 head coaches already.
Brian Schottenheimer is about as inspiring of a HC as Eric Mangini. This would make less than zero sense to fire Mangini in order to promote Schottenheimer to HC. Every day I wake up to hear more discouraging news about the JETS. I've been a Tannenbaum fan ever since he came here, but the more that comes out, the less blind faith I am having in this guy.
BS is obviously someone who knows the system already so if we can get a qualified OC and DC in here I dont see a problem with this
You guys really need to take this with a grain of salt. Don't believe what you hear until the next HC is sitting at a Press Conference with Johnson and Tannenbaum. I still remember Mort saying Bush was an absolute definate for the Houston Texans.
Knows what system? The system that fell apart down the stretch? The system that never put the ball in the hands of it's best playmaker? The system that couldn't make any in game adjustments? Is this the system your talking about?
I don't know if you guys remember this. But a couple weeks ago I posted a thread with a quote from BS that specifically said "I need to coach better.". If a guy who has come out and said "I need to coach better" gets our HC position then I don't know what I'm going to do.
Ninjas can kill anyone they want! Ninjas cut off heads ALL the time and don't even think twice about it. These guys are so crazy and awesome that they flip out ALL the time. I heard that there was this ninja who was eating at a diner. And when some dude dropped a spoon the ninja killed the whole town. My friend Mark said that he saw a ninja totally uppercut some kid just because the kid opened a window.
I wouldn't mind seeing him demoted to QB coach where he was successful in San Diego. Other than that, I think if a head coach can reel him in and get him to commit to the run game, especially in 3rd and 4th and short situations he COULD be a good OC. He has shown flashes of brilliance, I think he needs some guidance.
Fuck. You have to be fucking kidding me. :drunk::drunk::drunk: Holy shit. What an unbelievably bad move that would be.
Remember last season when Eli and Osi were injured in the same game, were supposed to be out for a month at least, and then came back and played the next week? Ever since then I've just been assuming that every injury he reports might as well be a death. The guy isn't exactly a fount of inside information.
