Brian S a very serious candidate. I believe he gets the job. The Jets need to make the tough decision not the popular decision. Remember, Tomlin wasn't poulat in Pitt, Harbaugh wasn't popular in Balt and who new about Mike Smith. Tanny and Woody need to have courage and do what they think is right. I trust Tannebaum to get the right coach.

I can't say I'd be happy with Schotty Jr. as the HC, but then again, it's not like I'm the guy out there interviewing him and examining his work. I trust Tannywood to make an informed decision and not just pick a name out of a hat.

WTF is the smart choice, seriously, does he have a legacy around here what has he done to merit any sort of serious contention.

I will also flip out like a ninja

The difference between Shottenjunior and Spagnuolo: Spags had success as a coordinator.

He is the only one who thinks BS is a strong candidate, most people seem to consider Brian Schott as a total outsider, no way he gets the HC position.

I rather have Marty be HC and keep him as OC.

Can we hand it to Schotty Jr. with the possible knowledge that its a one year job and wait for the Chin in 2010. Pefect timing for the new stadium and selling those PSL's.
    HMMMMM just a thought.

I think the sale has to be finalized before he can opt out. I think that is supposed to happen sometime in the next two weeks.

As will I. Tannenbaum should have been fired. He has proven he can't hire a coach or make top 10 first round draft picks. What else is there for a GM to do?

Well hell if we have to wait for Spaggs to be free after the Giants season is over lets wait to see what happens to BP. If he does become available ( Woody Gas up Brinks Truck ) we should get him.

Ninja's don't flip out. They hide in the shadows and stalk thier prey. Come to think of it, Raiderjoe has been acting like a Ninja since week 6.

Why would having Marty Schottenheimer as our coach be a bad thing? He has over 200 wins in his career. I figured we would love to have a coach with that kind of resume.
