What is the real purpose of this poll? What are you trying to prove? Asides from the fact that we can't even see who voted what way, I think it is asinine to think that someone won't root for the Jets because Favre is back next year. It isn't like we have Browning freaking Nagle throwing the ball out there. Then again, people are crazy, so who knows? :breakdance:
Guys, players come and go....but we cheer for the laundry. That's what being a fan is. With that being said, there is nothing wrong with wishing Chad well....just not when it comes to hurting the Jets chances in any way shape or form. That's just the way I feel.
Policing? when someone says something and follows it up with: and thats what I believe or anything along those lines., does that directly translate to Every needs to do this to you? And excuse me if you will, but isn't a person who abandons a team becuase of one guy just as bad as someone who comes to another team because of one guy? And whats it to you that I support Favre? I have a problem with a team i root for treating a person that exemplifies class and dignity as poorly as the Jets did toward Pennington, to cater to a guy as classless, selfish, ego driven, and one way as Brett Favre has always been. The chickens have come home to roost in so many ways with this trade for the Jets and they deserve it. I am not a Dolphins fan and never will be, but I certainly am not upset the Jets ended up the way they did. The Jets made me stop caring for the first time since I am rooting for them.
Yes. I agree with you: you and they suck equally. No, but it's a laugh. Favre's play down the stretch was so bad that not even his most devoted followers can stand to talk about it anymore. So instead they run around questioning the bona fides of Jets fans who say nice things about Pennington. Too funny!

What? I'm posting a poll dude. It's not opinionated, so even if I do support Favre, I understand that he sucked incredibly the past 5 games,, and I'm staying totally neutral in making this poll.
I will never forgive the Jets for the whole Favre fiasco. But, I have realized that my fanhood has been hard-wired into me. Much as I hate the way the club is run, I'll root for them. Even if they end up fielding a Pop Warner team.
